Ottsuls 60-inch Adjustable Shepherd Hooks 2-Pack, Matte Black, Five-Prong Stable Garden Hangers

Ottsuls 60" adjustable shepherd hooks are heavy‑duty, rust‑resistant garden stakes designed to securely hang bird feeders, lanterns, plant baskets, and outdoor decor while staying firmly anchored with five base prongs.

These outdoor shepherd hooks combine a vintage matte‑black finish with a reinforced five‑prong ground base and a four‑piece telescoping pole system so you can change height quickly and store them easily. Built from thick steel with a powder coat, the pair of 60‑inch hangers works for weddings, patios, gardens, and pathways where you want a reliable anchor for planters, lights, and ornaments without worrying about tipping or corrosion.

How do the Ottsuls shepherd hooks resist tipping in soft soil?

The key is the reinforced base: each hook uses five long prongs, including doubled forked tines, that spread load and bite into the ground to keep the pole upright under weight and wind. The extra prongs distribute pressure and reduce wobble compared with single‑spike designs.

• Five base prongs for greater soil grip and stability
• Long, double‑forked tines that resist rotation and sinking
• Wide footprint minimizes leverage from hanging items or gusts
• Suitable for soft and loamy soils where single spikes often fail

Can I adjust the height and how easy is assembly?

Yes — each shepherd hook comes in a four‑piece pole design that screws together quickly without tools. You can set the full 60" height or shorten the hook by removing a segment for lower hanging or compact storage.

• Screw‑together four‑part poles for toolless assembly and disassembly
• Adjustable height to suit baskets, lanterns, or bird feeders
• Compact disassembly for winter storage or transport
• Secure threaded joints that remain firm once assembled

What types of items can I hang from these garden stakes?

These versatile hooks are built to support a broad range of outdoor items without damaging the finish or structure. From decorative to functional pieces, they provide a secure perch for hanging displays along walkways or around patios.

• Plant baskets, coco‑fiber liners, and hanging flower pots
• Bird feeders, hummingbird feeders, and birdbaths
• Lanterns, mason jar lights, solar lights, and string lights
• Wedding aisle decor, wind chimes, ornaments, and signs

How durable is the finish and will it resist outdoor wear?

The poles are made from heavy‑gauge steel with a smooth black powder coating that stands up to weather and resists rust. Regular outdoor use and seasonal exposure are expected; occasional cleaning and storing in severe winter months will extend life further.

• Heavy‑grade steel construction for load support and longevity
• Black powder coat finish resists rust and blends with garden aesthetics
• Designed for repeated assembly without compromising threads
• Store disassembled in winter to preserve coating and prevent corrosion
