How quickly will I see results after applying Ortho WeedClear?

Many users notice leaf yellowing or wilting within a few hours, with fuller collapse over several days to a couple weeks depending on weed size and species. Faster results occur on small, actively growing weeds in temperatures below 90°F.

• Visible leaf discoloration often within hours.
• Smaller or younger weeds die faster than mature plants.
• Complete control may take days to a few weeks for rooted kill.
• Best timing: spring or fall when weeds are actively growing.

Will this spray damage my lawn grass?

Ortho WeedClear is formulated for lawns and, when applied according to label directions, targets broadleaf weeds while minimizing harm to most turf grasses. Proper use means applying only to weeds and avoiding over-application or spraying during heat stress.

• Designed for broadleaf weed control without harming turf if directions followed.
• Use spot treatments with the Comfort Wand for precision.
• Avoid application above 90°F or on drought-stressed grass.
• Read label for grass types and usage restrictions.

How do I use the Comfort Wand for best coverage and safety?

The Comfort Wand attaches to the 1-gallon container and delivers continuous spray stream control for targeted application. Apply to the weed foliage, keep spray moving to avoid over-saturation, and allow the product to dry before letting people or pets back on the treated area.

• Attach wand, aim at weed foliage, and press for continuous spray.
• Cover only the weed leaves—dragging over grass avoids unnecessary exposure.
• Wait until spray dries; product is rainproof in about one hour.
• Follow label PPE and re-entry instructions for safety.
