Ortho GroundClear Poison Ivy & Tough Brush Killer — 1 gal with Comfort Wand, spot spray, rainproof

Ortho GroundClear Poison Ivy & Tough Brush Killer3 is a ready-to-use 1-gallon spray system that quickly suppresses over 60 tough weeds and brush, including poison ivy, poison oak, kudzu and wild blackberry.

Keep fence lines, walkways, trails and other non-garden areas clear of invasive brush with this heavy-duty outdoor formula and its battery-powered Comfort Wand applicator. Designed for spot treatment, the unit delivers targeted sprays to foliage, stems and trunks so you waste less product and limit drift to desirable plants. Visible wilting begins in about an hour, and treated surfaces become rainproof in roughly two hours, letting you plan yard cleanup with confidence.

How quickly will I see results after spraying?

Results are typically noticeable within one hour as foliage begins to wilt, with continued decline over days to weeks depending on species and growing conditions. Rainproof protection forms in roughly two hours, so brief showers shortly after treatment won’t wash the product away.

• Visible wilting often starts in about 1 hour
• Treated areas become rainproof in ~2 hours
• Complete die-back timing varies by plant species and weather
• Apply when plants are actively growing for best uptake

Where should I use this product and where should I avoid it?

Use this spray in non-garden settings such as around homes, cabins, fence lines, utility areas and trails to remove unwanted brush and invasive vines. It is not formulated for lawns, vegetable beds, flower gardens, or any area containing plants you want to keep.

• Ideal for fence lines, driveways, trails and around outbuildings
• Not recommended for lawns or garden beds with desirable plants

How do I operate the Comfort Wand and apply the spray correctly?

The 1-gallon container includes a battery-powered Comfort Wand for precise application. Attach the wand, turn the knob to "ON," choose the spray pattern, unlock the trigger and press to apply, ensuring foliage, stems and trunks are thoroughly wet for effective control.

• Connect the wand to the tank and switch the knob to "ON"
• Select spray pattern and unlock the trigger to spray

• Apply to mature, leafed-out plants that are actively growing
