ORIJEN Amazing Grains WholePrey Dry Dog Food Original 22.5 lb — 90% Animal Ingredients, Grain-Inclusive Digestive Support

ORIJEN Amazing Grains WholePrey Original is a high-protein dry dog food that combines 90% animal ingredients with a balanced grain blend to support digestion, skin, coat and overall vitality.

Formulated with a majority of fresh and raw meats plus whole grains chosen for digestibility, ORIJEN Amazing Grains Original supplies concentrated animal nutrition alongside fiber and omega fatty acids. The recipe emphasizes WholePrey inclusions — muscle, organs and cartilage — to deliver naturally occurring vitamins and minerals, while a freeze-dried coating adds an appealing burst of raw flavor. Ingredients are handled cold and delivered chilled or frozen to preserve freshness.

How does this food help everyday digestion?

The recipe pairs soluble and insoluble fibers from oat groats, whole oats, quinoa and chia with prebiotics and probiotics to promote a balanced gut environment. These components support regular stool quality and nutrient absorption without relying on artificial additives.

• Balanced grain mix for steady fiber intake
• Included inulin and probiotics for microbiome support
• Omega fats from whole herring, salmon and pollock oil to complement gut health

What protein sources are used and why do they matter?

ORIJEN lists fresh or raw chicken, turkey, chicken liver, whole herring and salmon as the first five ingredients, emphasizing whole-animal nutrition. This concentration of animal ingredients supplies amino acids, natural vitamins and minerals in bioavailable forms.

• 90% animal-derived ingredients for a protein-forward profile
• WholePrey approach includes organs for micronutrients
• Fresh and raw ingredient handling to retain nutrient integrity

Will this recipe support skin and coat condition?

The formula contains DHA and EPA from whole herring, salmon and pollock oil, which help maintain healthy skin lipid layers and a glossy coat. Combined with high-quality proteins and essential micronutrients, the diet supports visible coat condition as part of overall nutrition.

• Omega-3 fatty acids from whole fish oils
• Protein and amino acids that aid hair and skin structure
• Freeze-dried coating for palatability that encourages consistent feeding
