Orbit Pro Flo metal mechanical hose timer — silver, 15–120 min, high‑flow durable design

Orbit 62041 Pro Flo is a heavy‑duty metal mechanical hose faucet timer that lets you set watering sessions from 15 to 120 minutes without batteries.

Built as the only metal mechanical timer in its class, the Orbit 62041 combines durable construction with simple, mechanical operation. It installs between an outdoor faucet and hose, delivers 20% higher flow than standard mechanical timers, and shuts water off automatically at the end of the set interval. The oversized dial and a manual watering option make it easy to operate even with gloves or wet hands, while the swivel coupling gives a secure, quick connection to most hoses.

How do I set and use this timer?

Setting the Orbit 62041 is as straightforward as an egg timer: turn the large dial to the desired duration and the timer counts down mechanically. When the time expires, the unit automatically stops the water flow. No wiring, batteries, or digital menus are required.

• Turn faucet fully on, then rotate dial to 15–120 minutes.
• Dial mechanism counts down and closes the valve when time is up.
• Use the manual watering switch to bypass the timer temporarily.
• Easily reset by rotating dial again for additional sessions.

What are the durability and performance benefits of metal construction?

The metal body is designed to withstand outdoor conditions and repeated use better than plastic timers. Metal parts resist cracking, wear, and UV damage, providing a longer service life and reliable valve action season after season.

• All‑metal housing and internal components for strength and durability.
• Better resistance to impacts and temperature swings than plastic models.
• Swivel coupling reduces stress on threads for secure attachment.
• High‑flow design supplies 20% more water than standard mechanical timers.

Will this timer help me conserve water and simplify yard care?

Yes — by automatically shutting off water after the preset time, the Orbit 62041 prevents overwatering from forgotten hoses and gives plants consistent run times. It’s especially helpful for routine watering, hand‑watering beds, containers, and lawn sections where automatic irrigation isn’t available.

• Prevents long, unattended watering sessions that waste water.
• Accurate mechanical cutoff reduces human error and forgotten hoses.
• Optional manual mode lets you fetch extra water without removing the unit.
• Simple operation encourages routine, measured watering schedules.

Does it fit my faucet and hose—what about installation?

Installation takes only a minute: thread the timer onto most outdoor faucets, then attach your garden hose to the swivel coupling. The unit’s universal male/female connections work with standard garden hardware, and the swivel reduces twisting.

• Standard faucet threads for quick attachment to outdoor spigots.
• Swivel coupling makes hose connection easier and prevents kinks.
• Oversized dial is usable with gloves or wet hands for fast adjustments.
• No tools or batteries required—just thread on and set the time.

Who is this for? Homeowners, gardeners, and anyone who hand‑waters planting beds, containers, or lawn sections and wants a rugged, low‑maintenance way to control watering time. It’s ideal for climates with outdoor faucets, users who prefer mechanical simplicity over electronics, and those who need a sturdy timer that tolerates rough outdoor conditions.
