Orbit B-hyve Indoor Smart Sprinkler Controller — 8-Zone WiFi, App-Controlled with Weather Adaptive Scheduling

Orbit B-hyve Indoor Smart Sprinkler Controller is an app-controlled, 8-zone indoor irrigation timer that automates watering using WiFi, Bluetooth setup, and weather-aware adjustments.

The Orbit B-hyve Indoor controller brings connected, weather-informed irrigation management to homeowners who want healthier landscapes and lower water use without complicated hardware. Designed for indoor installation near your existing valve manifold, this eight-zone controller supports independent schedules for lawns, flower beds, vegetable plots, and specialty landscape areas. Built-in WiFi allows remote control via the B-hyve app, while Bluetooth helps with local setup when WiFi is unavailable. The unit uses local weather data to adapt run times and can be integrated with smart home systems for hands-off convenience.

How does the B-hyve controller save time and water?

The controller combines customizable programs with automatic weather adjustments to reduce unnecessary watering. Instead of fixed runtimes, it modifies schedules when rain, temperature shifts, or evaporation changes are detected, so plants get water only when needed.

• Weather-aware scheduling that shortens or skips cycles after rain or cool conditions
• Multiple custom programs for different plant types and zones
• Remote start/stop and manual run options via the mobile app

What do I need to install and connect this indoor irrigation controller?

Installation is designed for standard indoor valve locations and uses common electrical and irrigation connections. Basic wiring to the solenoid valves and a 24 VAC transformer are required; the app guides Bluetooth setup and links to your WiFi network for cloud control.

• Mount indoors near valve manifold with available 24 VAC transformer
• Wire each zone to its terminal; simple color-coded terminals help speed installation
• Use Bluetooth for initial setup, then connect to home WiFi for remote access

Can the controller handle different landscape zones and plant needs?

Yes — eight independent stations let you tailor watering to specific areas. Create distinct schedules for turf, beds, potted plants, and drip systems to match root depth, plant type, and sun exposure.

• Eight independent zones for targeted watering control
• Custom run times and repeat intervals per zone
• Support for mixed irrigation methods: sprays, rotors, drip lines

What connectivity and smart-home features are available?

The B-hyve controller supports WiFi for remote management through the B-hyve app and offers Bluetooth for easy local setup. It integrates with common smart-home ecosystems and provides notifications and manual overrides when you need them.

• Cloud-enabled control and schedule editing from anywhere with the app
• Bluetooth-assisted initial setup when WiFi is not yet configured
• Compatibility with select smart-home platforms for voice and automation
