OPTP McKenzie Lumbar Roll Firm Density 11" x 4.75" — Portable Low Back Support with Elastic Strap

OPTP The Original McKenzie Lumbar Roll is a firm-density foam lumbar pillow designed to support the natural curve of the lower spine while sitting.

This compact lumbar roll measures approximately 11 inches long by 4.75 inches in diameter and delivers firm, consistent support for seated posture. Crafted from durable foam with a moisture-wicking, removable 100% polyester cover and a 1.5-inch elastic strap, the roll is portable for office chairs, car seats, or travel. Made in the USA and widely used by physical therapists and spine-care professionals, this model complements daily sitting routines without taking up much space.

How does this lumbar roll improve comfort during long periods of sitting?

The firm-density foam restores a more neutral lower-back curve to reduce strain on muscles and encourage better posture. It fills the gap between the chair and the small of your back, making upright sitting easier and more stable for extended use.

• Firm foam maintains shape under pressure for reliable support.
• Compact 11" x 4.75" size fits most chair backs and car seats.
• Elastic strap keeps the roll positioned where you need it.
• Removable cover wicks moisture for all-day comfort.

Will the McKenzie Lumbar Roll fit my office chair or car seat?

Yes — the lumbar roll’s compact dimensions and elastic strap make it adaptable across many seating surfaces. The strap wraps around seat backs or can be worn at the waist for a customized fit while traveling.

• 11" length covers the lumbar region for most adults.
• 1.5" elastic strap adjusts to different seat thicknesses.
• Lightweight design is easy to reposition between seats.
• Firm density prevents collapse when compressed in car seats.

How do I care for the lumbar roll to keep it fresh and durable?

The cover is removable and machine-washable, simplifying routine cleaning without damaging the foam core. Spot-clean the foam as needed with a damp cloth and mild detergent, and allow it to air dry completely before reinserting into the cover.

• Remove and machine-wash the 100% polyester cover.
• Spot-clean foam gently; do not submerge or machine-wash the core.
• Air-dry cover and foam fully to prevent moisture buildup.
• Regular cleaning preserves moisture-wicking performance.

What makes the OPTP McKenzie Lumbar Roll different from softer options?

The firm-density version provides a stable surface that resists flattening, which is helpful for users who need consistent structural support. If you prefer a gentler contour, OPTP also offers a standard-density option to suit lighter support preferences.

• Firm foam holds lumbar shape under pressure for consistent alignment.
• Available in alternate density for personalized comfort choices.
• Durable foam offers long service life versus lower-quality fillers.
• Recommended by spine-care professionals for dependable support.
