How much protein and amino acids are in each serving?

Each scoop provides 24 grams of whey protein, primarily from whey protein isolate, plus approximately 5.5 grams of naturally occurring BCAAs and about 11 grams of essential amino acids. That balance supports muscle protein synthesis when paired with resistance training over time.

• 24 g total whey protein per scoop
• ~5.5 g of naturally occurring branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs)
• ~11 g of naturally occurring essential amino acids (EAAs)
• Low sugar (~1 g), ~3 g carbs, and low fat per serving

How quickly does it mix and what liquids work best?

Gold Standard Whey uses an instantized formula for easy mixing—shake, stir, or blender options all work well. It dissolves smoothly in cold water for a light shake, mixes creamier with milk, and blends well into fruit smoothies for added calories and flavor.

• Shaker cup for quick post-workout mixing
• Blender for thicker smoothies and added fruit
• Spoon/stirring works for a simple, on-the-go option

What are the typical uses and timing for this protein?

Use it after strength training to support recovery, anytime you need a convenient protein boost, or as part of a meal or snack to reach daily protein goals. It’s adaptable to cutting, lean-muscle building, or general fitness maintenance depending on how you fit it into meals and caloric targets.

• Post-workout shake to support recovery
• Between meals to help meet daily protein targets
• Mixed into recipes like pancakes or yogurt for added protein

Is this product suitable for people watching carbs, sugar, or fat?

Yes—this formulation emphasizes whey protein isolate to reduce carbs, fats, and sugars, making it a practical option for people managing macros or cutting calories. It offers a high protein-to-calorie ratio compared with many other flavored protein powders.

• Approximately 1 g sugar per serving
• About 3 g total carbohydrates per serving
• Low in fat to support lean goals
