Nutricost Casein Protein Powder 2 lb Chocolate — 24g Protein, Slow-Release Nighttime Recovery

Nutricost Casein Protein Powder 2lb in Chocolate flavor is a slow-digesting micellar casein supplement that delivers 24 grams of protein per serving for sustained amino acid release.

This two-pound tub of chocolate-flavored micellar casein is formulated for people who want a prolonged-release protein option between meals or overnight. Each scoop provides 24 grams of protein, and the container yields about 26 servings. Made in a GMP-compliant, FDA-registered facility, it’s non-GMO and gluten-free, offering a dependable protein source for recovery, appetite control, or extended nourishment.

How does Nutricost Casein benefit overnight recovery?

Casein forms a gel-like texture in the stomach that slows digestion, helping maintain amino acid delivery for several hours after consumption. That slower release supports longer-lasting protein availability compared with faster proteins like whey.

• 24 g protein per serving to supply steady amino acids
• Micellar casein formulation designed for slow absorption
• Chocolate flavor makes it easy to take before bed
• 26 servings per 2 lb tub for multiple weeks of use

When should I use this casein instead of whey or other proteins?

Use Nutricost Casein when you need prolonged protein delivery—such as before sleep, between long meals, or during periods without frequent eating. For rapid post-workout replenishment, faster proteins like whey are typically preferred, while casein complements those by providing extended support.

• Best before sleep or long fasting periods
• Complements faster proteins after intense training
• Useful for appetite control by increasing satiety
• Chocolate flavor works in shakes, smoothies, or recipes

What’s in the product and how is it manufactured?

The primary ingredient is 100% chocolate-flavored micellar casein, delivering 24 grams of protein per serving with no added GMOs and gluten-free labeling. Nutricost produces this powder in a GMP-compliant, FDA-registered facility to meet standard quality controls.

• 100% micellar casein protein (chocolate flavored)
• 26 servings per 2 lb container, 24 g protein each
• Manufactured in a GMP-compliant, FDA-registered facility
• Non-GMO and gluten-free for ingredient transparency

How do I prepare and use this casein powder effectively?

Mix a scoop with water, milk, or a milk alternative and stir or blend until smooth; using cold liquid creates a thicker, shake-like texture. You can also add it to smoothies, yogurt, or recipes that benefit from a creamy chocolate protein boost.

• Mix with 8–10 oz of liquid and blend for a thicker shake
• Add to smoothies for texture and extra protein
• Use before bed or between meals for sustained amino acids
• Store in a cool, dry place and seal tightly after use

Who is this for? Nutricost Casein Protein Powder in Chocolate is geared toward active adults, athletes, and anyone seeking a slow-release protein source — especially those who want sustained amino acid support overnight or between long meals. It fits well into recovery-focused nutrition plans and for individuals avoiding gluten or GMO ingredients. If you prefer a longer-lasting protein to complement your whey or plant-based powders, this 2 lb chocolate micellar casein offers a flavorful, convenient option.
