NUK Learner Straw Cup 10 oz Toddler Cup — Soft Weighted Silicone Straw, Removable Handles

The NUK Learner Straw Cup is a 10 oz toddler cup with a 100% soft silicone weighted straw that follows the liquid and helps babies switch from bottle or spout cups to sipping independently.

Built for early drinkers aged 8 months and up, this cup combines a gentle silicone straw, removable easy-grip handles, and an anti-colic air vent to make the next step in feeding simple and low-mess. The design is BPA-free and dishwasher safe so parents can focus less on cleanup and more on developmental milestones.

How does the weighted straw make sipping easier for my baby?

The weighted silicone straw stays submerged as the liquid level drops, letting babies sip from any angle without tilting the cup. Because the straw is soft and flexible it’s gentle on emerging teeth and tender gums, encouraging longer independent practice sessions.

• 100% soft silicone straw that moves with liquid level
• Allows drinking from angled or upright positions
• Soft texture reduces biting or discomfort

Will this cup reduce spills and swallowed air?

The lid and straw system are engineered to limit leaks while the built-in air vent reduces the amount of air drawn in during sipping. Together they help minimize countertop mess and decrease the chance of swallowed air that can cause fussiness after feedings.

• Secure straw-to-lid fit minimizes accidental spills
• Air vent design lowers air ingestion during drinking
• Soft spout alternative that still controls flow

Can my child hold this cup on their own and will it grow with them?

Yes—the cup includes easy-grip, anti-slip handles that snap on for learning and remove when the child is ready for more advanced grip. The compact 10 oz size and lightweight construction make it manageable for small hands but roomy enough for age-appropriate servings.

• Removable ergonomic handles for self-feeding practice
• 10 oz capacity for toddler-sized portions
• Lightweight, spill-conscious design supports independence

How easy is it to clean and is it safe for everyday use?

The NUK Learner Straw Cup is BPA-free and dishwasher safe, simplifying sterilization and daily cleanup. Its components disassemble for thorough washing so you can reach the straw, lid, and cup interior without hassle.

• BPA-free materials for safer everyday use
• Dishwasher-safe parts for quick cleaning
• Multiple removable pieces for deep cleaning access
