NOW Foods BetterStevia Liquid Stevia Extract, 2-Pack 8 oz — Organic Zero-Calorie, Fast-Dissolving

NOW Foods BetterStevia is a certified organic, zero-calorie liquid stevia extract designed to replace table sugar and artificial sweeteners in drinks and recipes.

Made to keep stevia's naturally sweet profile while avoiding the aftertaste associated with some synthetics, this liquid extract offers a concentrated, low-glycemic alternative for everyday sweetening. Packaged in the USA by NOW Foods, the product is Non-GMO Project Verified, gluten-free, kosher, and suited to keto and calorie-conscious lifestyles. The liquid format dissolves quickly into hot or cold beverages and allows for precise portioning drip by drip.

How much sweetness does one drop deliver and how do I measure it?

The liquid extract is concentrated: a small number of drops equals the sweetness of spoonfuls of sugar, so a little goes a long way. Start with one to two drops in a cup of coffee or tea, and adjust to taste; a standard 8-ounce serving usually needs only a few drops.

• One to two drops per 8-ounce beverage as a starting point.
• Use fewer drops when combining with other sweeteners or flavored syrups.
• Dial back in recipes gradually; liquids blend more intensely than granulated sugar.

Will BetterStevia dissolve in cold drinks and recipes?

Yes — the liquid format was created specifically to dissolve quickly in both hot and cold applications, unlike some powdered sweeteners that can clump. Because it’s already in solution, it mixes smoothly into iced tea, smoothies, and chilled desserts without gritty residue.

• Add directly to cold beverages; stir or shake to distribute evenly.
• Works in smoothies, protein shakes, and chilled sauces.
• Suitable for stovetop or no-heat recipes where instant dissolution helps.

Is this suitable for special diets like keto, gluten-free, or kosher?

NOW BetterStevia is formulated to match several common dietary needs: it contains no calories or sugar, is gluten-free, keto-friendly, and carries kosher certification. It is Non-GMO Project Verified and uses certified organic stevia extract, making it compatible with many lifestyle choices.

• Zero-calorie and low-glycemic, so it fits low-carb and calorie-aware plans.
• Gluten-free and kosher (Triangle K) certified.
• Non-GMO Project Verified and packaged in the USA by NOW Foods.

How does BetterStevia compare to artificial sweeteners and granulated sugar?

BetterStevia provides sweetness without the calories and blood-sugar impact of table sugar, and it avoids the chemical base of many artificial sweeteners by using an organic stevia extract. Many users prefer its cleaner, more natural flavor profile, though sweetness intensity and taste perception vary by individual.

• Zero calories vs. sugar's caloric content per serving.
• Organic stevia extract rather than synthetic compounds.
• Liquid format allows fine-tuning of sweetness without added volume.

Who is this for: NOW BetterStevia liquid is aimed at anyone seeking a natural, no-calorie sweetener — from those managing carbohydrate intake or following keto, to people reducing sugar for weight or dental reasons, and to home cooks wanting a convenient, fast-dissolving sweetener. It’s particularly useful for coffee and tea drinkers who prefer drip dosing, beverage formulators, and home bakers who want to experiment with sugar reduction in recipes that tolerate concentrated liquid sweeteners. As with all concentrated sweeteners, begin with small amounts and adjust to personal taste.
