Nordic Pure 16x25x4 MERV 12 Pleated Air Filters 2-Pack — Actual 15.5x24.5x3.63 in, Electrostatic High-Efficiency

Nordic Pure 16x25x4 MERV 12 pleated air filters are high-efficiency electrostatically charged HVAC filters sized at an actual 15.5 x 24.5 x 3.63 inches, sold as a convenient 2-pack for residential heating and cooling systems.

These pleated filters combine dense, electrostatic synthetic media with a moisture-resistant beverage-board frame and bonded metal mesh support to capture a wide range of airborne particulates while maintaining airflow. Rated MERV 12 (comparable to MPR 1500–1900), they trap particles down to about 0.3 microns and are designed for routine replacement every 3–6 months to keep HVAC equipment running efficiently.

How do these filters fit my system when sizes vary by brand?

Most furnace and return filters use a nominal size that differs from the actual physical measurements printed on the product. Nordic Pure lists the true dimensions so you can compare your current filter before buying; this model’s actual size is 15.5 x 24.5 x 3.63 inches. If your existing filter has a 4 3/8" depth (common in some Honeywell/Lennox units), choose the 16x25x5 model instead for proper fit.

• Actual dimensions given: 15.5 x 24.5 x 3.63 inches.
• Measure your old filter to confirm length, width, and depth before ordering.
• See Nordic Pure 16x25x5 for 4 3/8" actual depth replacements.

What level of particle capture and performance can I expect?

With a MERV 12 rating, these pleated filters are engineered to capture fine dust, pollen, smoke particles, mold spores, and many other airborne particulates as small as approximately 0.3 microns. The electrostatically charged synthetic media attracts and retains particles while the pleated design increases surface area for extended service life. This balance of filtration and airflow helps reduce stress on your HVAC system when filters are replaced on schedule.

• MERV 12 performance, comparable to MPR 1500–1900.
• Captures particles down to ~0.3 microns.
• Pleated media plus electrostatic charge for improved retention.

How are these filters constructed and what makes them durable?

Nordic Pure filters use a heavy-duty, moisture-resistant beverage-board frame that resists warping and a bonded metal mesh grid that supports the pleats. The filter media is a hypoallergenic, antimicrobial, electrostatically charged synthetic material that does not require chemical additives. Together these elements provide stable fit, consistent airflow, and reliable filtration performance through the recommended service interval.

• Moisture-resistant beverage-board outer frame for rigidity.
• Metal mesh bonded to pleats for structural support.
• Electrostatically charged, antimicrobial synthetic media.

When should I replace the filter and what maintenance matters?

Nordic Pure recommends replacing 4" filters every 3–6 months under typical residential conditions; replace more frequently during renovations, heavy indoor pollution, pet shedding seasons, or high-traffic periods. Changing filters on schedule preserves HVAC efficiency, lowers energy costs, and helps prevent reduced airflow that can strain system components. Always confirm that the actual filter dimensions match your filter slot before installation.

• Recommended replacement: every 3–6 months for 4" filters.
• Replace sooner during renovations, smoke events, or heavy pet use.
• Confirm actual filter size against your existing filter before ordering.

Who is this for: homeowners and renters looking for a stronger-than-basic replacement filter that balances fine-particle capture with airflow, households with allergy concerns, pet owners, and anyone wanting a clearly listed actual-size option to ensure a correct fit. This 2-pack of Nordic Pure MERV 12 pleated filters is practical for scheduled maintenance and keeps HVAC systems operating efficiently when used as directed.
