NoCry Telescoping Magnetic Pickup Tool — 30in Extendable Stainless Steel, 25 lb Pull

NoCry's telescoping magnetic pickup tool is a compact, rust-resistant stainless-steel wand with an extra-strong 25 lb pull force that extends to 30 inches for retrieving metal items from tight or hard-to-reach places.

This extendable magnetic retrieval tool is designed for mechanics, hobbyists, and homeowners who need a reliable way to recover screws, bolts, keys, and other ferrous objects without crawling under furniture or disassembling parts. At just 7 inches when collapsed and stretching out to 30 inches, the tool balances portability with reach. Its stainless-steel construction and protective surface coating reduce the risk of corrosion, while the cushioned non-slip handle and pocket clip make it easy to carry and use in busy work environments.

How strong is the magnet and what will it pick up?

The magnet head delivers up to 25 pounds of pull force on compatible ferrous materials, letting you retrieve heavy nuts, bolts, and tools from awkward places. It’s optimized for iron-based metals but won’t attract most non-magnetic stainless steels.

• 25 lb rated pull force for strong retrieval power
• Useful for iron, nickel, cobalt, hematite and some steels
• Not effective on non-magnetic stainless steel or non-ferrous metals
• 0.87-inch magnetic head fits into narrow gaps and cavities

How compact and durable is the telescoping shaft?

The shaft collapses to about 7 inches for easy storage and extends to 30 inches to reach deep panels or under furniture. Constructed from stainless steel with a corrosion-resistant coating, it’s made to withstand garage and shop environments with minimal maintenance.

• 7 in collapsed length for toolbox or pocket storage
• Extends smoothly to a full 30 in reach
• Stainless-steel body with protective surface coating to resist rust
• Avoid prolonged water exposure to maintain magnet and coating life

What ergonomic features make it easy to use on the job?

NoCry designed the pickup tool with a cushioned non-slip rubber handle so you can hold it securely even with greasy hands. A pocket clip keeps the wand accessible, and the balanced weight distribution helps when maneuvering in tight spaces.

• Non-slip rubberized handle for secure grip during use
• Cushioned design reduces hand fatigue during repeated retrievals
• Integrated pocket clip for quick carry and storage on belts or pockets
• Small magnetic head for precise pickup in confined areas

How should I care for and store this magnetic pickup tool?

To keep the tool performing well, wipe it clean after use and store it dry; the protective coating helps prevent rust but is not a substitute for avoiding long-term moisture exposure. Periodically check the magnet head for chips or debris that could reduce holding power.

• Wipe off oil and dirt after use to preserve the coating
• Store collapsed in a dry toolbox or pocket to protect the shaft
• Inspect magnet head for damage and remove any metal shavings
• Avoid soaking in water to maximize lifespan

Who is this for? This NoCry telescoping magnetic pickup tool is ideal for anyone who works with small metal parts — mechanics, electricians, plumbers, DIYers, and craftspersons will find it useful for fast, hands-free retrieval of lost hardware. If you need a portable, durable, and strong magnet rod to rescue bolts, screws, keys, or other ferrous items from confined or awkward spaces, this tool offers a practical, long-reaching solution that fits easily in a toolbox or pocket.
