Nisus Niban Granular Bait, 10 lb — Weather-Resistant Boric Acid Granules for Long-Lasting Ant & Cockroach Control

Nisus Niban Granular Bait is a weather-resistant, boric-acid-based granular formula designed to attract and control ants, cockroaches, slugs, snails and other common pests in and around buildings.

Engineered for long-lasting field performance, this 10 lb container delivers large-area coverage with a refillable comfort-grip applicator for fast placement. The granules are formulated to remain effective in sunlight, heat and rain so you can treat perimeter zones, foundations, gardens and indoor voids without frequent reapplication. Because it uses food-grade attractants with boric acid, Niban is intended to be attractive to many crawling pests while offering a low-profile, non-fumigant option for routine pest management.

How does this bait stand up to weather and outdoor exposure?

Niban granules are engineered to hold their shape and attractiveness after exposure to sun, heat and precipitation, reducing the need for immediate reapplication. Their weather resistance makes them suitable for perimeter treatments and landscape edges where typical baits break down quickly.

• Formulated granules resist moisture and UV degradation.
• Maintains palatability after light rain events.
• Designed for both shaded and sun-exposed applications.
• Less frequent replenishment than non-weatherized baits.

Which pests will Nisus Niban Granular Bait attract and control?

This granular bait is attractive to a broad range of crawling pests commonly found in homes and commercial sites. It targets ants (excluding fire ants), cockroaches, crickets, silverfish, earwigs, slugs and snails, making it useful for mixed-infestation situations.

• Ant species (not labeled for fire ants).
• Cockroaches and other indoor crawlies like silverfish and earwigs.
• Common garden pests such as slugs and snails.
• Useful where multiple pest types coexist for a single treatment.

Is Niban safe to use around homes, pets and food areas?

Niban is intended for use around residential and commercial structures when applied according to label instructions. It contains boric acid and food-grade attractants; proper placement—such as in cracks, crevices, crawl spaces, attics and perimeter bands—helps minimize exposure to children and pets while addressing pest harborage points.

• Apply in voids and along foundation edges, out of reach of children and pets.
• Not a fumigant—placed granular bait reduces airborne exposure risks.
• Follow label directions for storage, handling and reapplication intervals.
• Suitable for kitchens and offices when placed in inaccessible pest pathways.

How easy is it to apply and how much area does a 10 lb container cover?

The product ships in a 10 lb container with a comfort-grip, refillable applicator for even, efficient placement. The applicator makes it quick to broadcast granules over high-traffic pest zones or to spot-treat specific cracks and entry points, reducing labor time on larger properties.

• Comfort-grip container speeds broadcast and spot applications.
• Refillable design simplifies storage and repeating treatments.
• 10 lb provides substantial coverage for perimeter and landscape lines.
• Good choice for routine maintenance and targeted problem areas.

Who is this for: Nisus Niban Granular Bait is suited for homeowners, property managers and pest control professionals who need a durable, non-fumigant granular bait for repeated perimeter and targeted treatments. It works well where mixed pest populations occur, in indoor service areas and outdoor landscaping where weather resistance and ease of application matter. Always read and follow the product label for safe and effective use.
