NICETOWN White Blackout Curtains 84in 2-Pack — Sewn-In Lining, Thermal & Noise-Reducing

These NICETOWN white blackout curtains are a two-panel, 84-inch set designed to block light, reduce noise, and insulate windows for a darker, quieter room.

Made from a two-layer triple-weave fabric with a sewn-in blackout backing, this ready-made drapery set includes two panels (each 52" wide × 84" long) for a combined width of 104". Finished with 1.6" inner-diameter silver grommets, the panels glide smoothly on most rods and provide a substantial, tailored look without additional liners.

How well do these curtains stop light and UV?

The curtains feature a true sewn-in blackout liner and triple-weave construction that significantly reduces incoming daylight and UV exposure. They are built to create a near-dark environment when fully closed, helping control glare and protect furnishings from sun fade.

• Sewn-in black lining for full blackout performance
• Triple-weave fabric reduces UV penetration
• Wide panels overlap to minimize light gaps

Will they help make my room quieter and more private?

Yes — the heavyweight two-layer fabric improves sound absorption compared with a single thin curtain. The denser drape reduces echoes and muffles outside noises while giving a privacy barrier that keeps interiors discreet.

• Thick, heavyweight panels for better sound dampening
• Full-length coverage from rod to hem minimizes exposure
• Close-weave texture enhances privacy

Do these curtains affect room temperature and energy use?

The insulating triple-weave material helps moderate indoor temperatures by blocking solar heat in summer and reducing heat loss in winter. While not a replacement for dedicated thermal treatments, they contribute to a more stable room climate and can reduce strain on heating and cooling systems.

• Two-layer construction adds thermal resistance
• Helps limit heat gain through windows in warm months
• Reduces heat loss during colder seasons

How do I care for and hang these curtains?

Installation is simple thanks to large silver grommets that slide over most curtain rods; no special hardware is required. For maintenance, avoid frequent washing to preserve the blackout backing—spot clean or hand wash cold when necessary and use mild detergent without bleach.

• 1.6" inner-diameter grommets for easy rod placement
• Spot clean or hand wash cold; low-heat ironing if needed
• Avoid bleach, long soaking, and sharp objects
