Nexxus Color Assure Vibrancy Shampoo for Color-Treated Hair 33.8 oz — Sulfate-Free, Bond-Strengthening

Nexxus Color Assure Vibrancy Shampoo is a sulfate-free cleansing formula that helps lock in color, strengthen protein bonds, and preserve color depth for up to 40 washes.

Colored hair loses vibrancy when the protein structure and cuticle are weakened by chemical, thermal, and environmental stress. Nexxus applies protein science to everyday care: this large 33.8 oz shampoo uses CHROMABOND SEALER technology and citric acid to reinforce keratin bonds, smooth the cuticle, and reduce color molecule loss. The result is a more reflective surface and longer-lasting, multidimensional color when used as part of the Color Assure system.

How does this shampoo help slow color fading?

The formula combines bond-strengthening proteins with a sealing complex to keep color molecules inside the hair’s protein matrix. By lowering cuticle lift and creating a hydrophobic barrier, it reduces the diffusion of dyes during routine washing and exposure to water.

• 3.3% CHROMABOND SEALER technology to maintain chromatic radiance
• Citric acid strengthens bonds and closes the cuticle
• Ionic sealing complex forms a protective layer to limit color loss

Will this shampoo repair hair that’s been colored or highlighted?

It is designed to address color-induced damage by targeting weakened protein structures rather than masking symptoms. The shampoo helps rebuild bond strength and smooth the hair surface, improving manageability and reducing breakage risk caused by lifted cuticles.

• Protein-focused technology to fortify stressed strands
• Detangles and reduces frizz for a smoother finish
• Hydration boost for softer, more manageable hair

Can I expect immediate results and lasting protection?

You can see instant surface shine and smoother feel after one use, while the protective benefits accumulate with regular use to preserve color vibrancy. Consumer testing supports sustained performance across multiple washes when combined with the Color Assure conditioner.

• Instant shine and sealed cuticle after one use
• Helps protect color vibrancy for up to 40 washes
• 0% sulfates for gentler cleansing of color-treated hair

How should I use this shampoo for best results?

Use as the shampoo step in the Color Assure system: apply to wet hair, lather, and rinse thoroughly before following with the matching conditioner to complete sealing and conditioning. Regular use with the conditioner maximizes color retention and long-term hair health.

• Apply to wet hair, lather, and rinse; repeat if needed
• Pair with Color Assure conditioner to lock in benefits
• Suitable for dyed, highlighted, and chemically treated hair

Who this is for: color-treated or highlighted hair that needs gentler cleansing and visible protection against fading. Ideal for people who want to extend salon color vibrancy, reduce tonal dulling, and improve hair texture without sulfates. The 33.8 oz size is convenient for regular at-home use or households with multiple users looking to maintain multidimensional color between salon visits.
