Neudorff Outdoor Ant Killer Granules 1 lb — Spinosad bait for organic gardening, pet- and people-friendly perimeter control

Neudorff Outdoor Ant Killer Granules are a pet-and-people-friendly, Spinosad-based granule bait that lures and controls common foraging ants around home perimeters and garden beds.

If ants are trailing into your yard, garden, or around foundations, this 1 lb pack of granules offers a simple, targeted option for outdoor ant control compatible with organic gardening practices. The compressed pellets are formulated to attract sugar-feeding and several other common ant species, while allowing treated areas to be re-entered by people and pets once applied. Use it around landscaped areas, vegetable plots, fruit trees, and under eaves to reduce ant pressure away from interiors.

How quickly will I see fewer ants after applying the granules?

Results depend on ant activity and colony size, but bait uptake usually begins within hours when ants find the granules. Visible trails may reduce over days as worker ants carry the active ingredient back to the nest.

• Attracts sugar- and sweet-feeding ants for rapid bait collection.
• Foraging reduction often visible within several days to a week.
• Treats active zones up to 2,000 sq ft per 1 lb depending on application rate.

Where and how should I apply this ant bait around my property?

Scatter the granules in dry, shaded locations along the home perimeter, near ant trails, and around landscape beds, trees, and greenhouse edges. Avoid applying directly to edible produce surfaces; place near plants but not on pickable fruit or vegetables.

• Perimeter band treatments around foundations, patios, doorways, and garages.
• Spot treat along ant runways, under mulch, or in cracks where ants forage.
• Safe for use around listed vegetables, fruit trees, ornamentals, lawns, and shrubs when applied as directed.

What species and pests does this product target?

Neudorff’s granules are formulated for many common outdoor ants and several other small pests. It works for sweet-feeding ants and a range of foraging species, and is also effective against certain non-ant arthropods that feed on the bait.

• Controls pavement, little black, Argentine, odorous house, crazy, and other common foragers.
• Not intended for fire ants, Pharaoh’s ants, harvester ants, or carpenter ants.
• Also attracts earwigs, pillbugs, sowbugs, cutworms, and crickets that may consume the bait.

Is this product safe for organic gardening and family areas?

The active ingredient is Spinosad, a naturally derived compound from a soil bacterium, and the granule form allows precise placement to minimize exposure. Treated areas may be used by people and pets after application according to label directions, making it suitable for many organic gardening situations when used responsibly.

• Spinosad is commonly accepted for use in organic production when applied correctly.
• Compressed pellets are easy to handle and reduce dust and drift compared with powders.
• Follow label instructions for buffer distances from harvestable produce and re-entry guidance.
