NETUM Mini C850 2D Barcode Scanner Bluetooth USB 2.4G Wireless — Pocket Portable, Rechargeable

The NETUM Mini Barcode Scanner C850 is a compact, pocket-sized wireless reader that decodes 1D and 2D barcodes across Bluetooth, 2.4G dongle, and USB wired connections.

Small enough to fit in a pocket yet outfitted with a powerful 2D imaging engine, the NETUM C850 is built for mobile inventory tasks, retail checkout, shipping desks, and field operations. It pairs with phones, tablets, laptops and POS systems, offers three scanning modes for different workflows, and includes a long-lasting rechargeable battery for extended use away from a power source.

How does this scanner connect to my devices?

The C850 supports three distinct interfaces so you can choose the best fit for your system: Bluetooth (HID/SPP/BLE), a 2.4 GHz RF USB dongle, or a USB cable in wired mode. That flexibility makes it simple to switch between mobile devices and desktops without special drivers in many cases.

• Bluetooth HID/SPP/BLE: pairs with phones, tablets, laptops up to about 10 m through obstacles.
• 2.4G RF dongle: plug-and-play with Windows, macOS, Linux; up to ~100 m unobstructed range.
• USB wired: works as HID keyboard or COM port and charges while scanning.

What scanning modes and barcode types can it handle?

The scanner offers three trigger styles—manual trigger, continuous scanning, and auto-sensing—so you can choose hands-on or hands-free operation depending on the task. Its 2D imaging engine decodes common 1D barcodes plus QR, PDF417, Data Matrix, MicroQR and other 2D formats reliably.

• Manual trigger: light and decode only while pressing the button for controlled reads.
• Continuous mode: beam stays active for uninterrupted batch scanning.
• Auto-sensing: detects a barcode and turns the beam on automatically for hands-free use.

How fast and accurate is the NETUM C850 in real-world use?

Equipped with a CMOS sensor and global shutter technology, the C850 captures barcodes quickly with reduced motion blur—useful for handheld scanning on moving items. It tolerates brisk motion and generates dependable reads for both printed labels and screen-displayed codes.

• Global shutter with auto exposure reduces blur from motion during scans.
• Decodes 2D and 1D codes on paper or digital displays with consistent accuracy.
• High motion tolerance supports fast scanning—helpful in busy retail or warehouse workflows.

Who is this for? The NETUM C850 is ideal for small-business owners, retail clerks, warehouse packers, couriers, and field technicians who need a lightweight, multi-mode scanner that travels easily and integrates with desktop and mobile setups. If you require flexible connectivity, hands-free scanning options, and a long battery life without bulk, this model provides a compact solution that adapts to checkout counters, backrooms, pop-up shops, and on-the-road operations.
