Discover five signature Nespresso Vertuo blends in one 50‑pod assortment for a full range of cup sizes and intensities.

If you want to sample top Vertuo coffees without committing to a single flavor, this Discovery Variety Pack delivers ten capsules each of Melozio, Stormio, Double Espresso Chiaro, Altissio and Ristretto Intenso. The set is made specifically for Nespresso Vertuo machines and covers light‑to‑bold profiles and several cup volumes, from ristretto to large mug. All capsules are aluminum and recyclable, helping preserve aroma while supporting sustainability options through Nespresso’s recycling program.

What blends are included and how do their intensities differ?

The pack contains five best‑selling Vertuo recipes with distinct roast levels and tasting notes. Intensities run from medium to very dark so you can evaluate how roast and crema affect sweetness, body and bitterness.

• Melozio — balanced, smooth; Intensity 6, best for longer cups (approx. 7.7 fl oz).
• Stormio — fuller and more roasted; Intensity 8, brewed as a large coffee (approx. 7.7 fl oz).
• Double Espresso Chiaro — lighter espresso roast tailored for a double espresso (approx. 2.7 fl oz); Intensity 8.
• Altissio — rich and creamy espresso (about 1.35 fl oz), Intensity 9 for a robust crema.
• Ristretto Intenso — the boldest, concentrated ristretto shot (about 0.85 fl oz), Intensity 12.

Which cup sizes will these Vertuo pods produce?

Each capsule is engineered for a specific volume using Vertuo’s barcode‑reading technology to adjust extraction. The assortment spans short, mid and long servings so you can make ristretto, espresso, double espresso and larger coffees without manual timing.

• Ristretto Intenso — ~0.85 fl oz concentrated ristretto.
• Altissio — ~1.35 fl oz standard espresso cup.
• Double Espresso Chiaro — ~2.7 fl oz double espresso.
• Melozio and Stormio — ~7.7 fl oz larger coffee cups.

How do these capsules fit into sustainable use and recycling?

The capsules are made from aluminum to lock in freshness and aroma; aluminum is infinitely recyclable. Nespresso runs multiple recycling programs and drop‑off or mail‑back options so used pods can be reclaimed rather than discarded.

• Aluminum shells preserve coffee flavor by blocking light and oxygen.
• Nespresso provides local recycling drop‑off points and prepaid return bags in many regions.
• Recycling reduces landfill waste and recovers metal for new products.

Can I use this pack with my current Nespresso machine?

These capsules are formulated only for the Nespresso Vertuo line and will not work in Nespresso Original machines. Vertuo devices read the capsule barcode and tailor brew parameters automatically for each included blend.

• Compatible with Vertuo and VertuoPlus machines with barcode scanning.
• Not compatible with OriginalLine or third‑party Nespresso machines.
• Works for hot brews and can be poured over ice after brewing for chilled recipes.

Who is this for: This Discovery Variety Pack is ideal for anyone new to Vertuo who wants to compare roast profiles and cup sizes before choosing favorites, or for households that enjoy rotating coffee styles without buying individual sleeves. It suits vertical‑machine owners looking for a convenient sampling set, from those who prefer a short intense ristretto to those who favor a longer, milder coffee. The recyclable aluminum capsules and diverse intensity range make it practical for conscious coffee drinkers and gift buyers seeking variety in one box.
