Nelko P21 Bluetooth Label Maker — White pocket thermal printer, rechargeable, 203 DPI

The Nelko P21 is a pocket-sized Bluetooth thermal label maker that prints clear monochrome labels without ink, ideal for home, office, and classroom organization.

The Nelko P21 shrinks traditional label printers into a lightweight, rechargeable handheld device that connects to iOS and Android phones via Bluetooth. Using direct thermal technology at 203 DPI, it produces crisp black-on-white labels on roll tape, supported by a companion app with thousands of icons, borders, materials and templates. Its compact form and long-lasting battery make on-the-spot labeling fast and simple for storage, classroom management, pricing, and personal projects.

How easy is it to get started with the Nelko P21?

Setting up the P21 is straightforward: install the roll, pair the printer through the Nelko app, pick a template and print. The app guides you through label sizes and templates so even beginners can create clean, professional-looking labels quickly.

• Download the free "Nelko" app from the App Store or Google Play.
• Insert the recommended Nelko thermal label roll and close the cover.
• Pair via Bluetooth inside the app (ensure iOS app is updated to V4.8.0).
• Choose template, edit text or add icons, then print.

What printing features and materials does the P21 support?

The P21 uses BPA-free direct thermal printing—no ink or toner required—delivering high-definition black text at 203 DPI. Label lengths are fixed to supported sizes, and color effects can be achieved using patterned color tapes rather than color printing.

• Monochrome printing via direct thermal technology (203 DPI).
• Works best with NELKO thermal label rolls for consistent results.
• Supported label sizes include common widths like 14×40mm, 14×50mm, 14×75mm.
• Color patterns available by using decorative color-pattern label tapes.

Which creative tools are available in the Nelko app?

The mobile app provides thousands of design elements so you can customize labels for many uses. Templates, icons, borders and barcode/Qr code support let you make identification tags, pantry labels, price stickers and classroom name tags quickly.

• 3,600+ icons, 700+ borders and 750+ ready-made templates.
• Support for QR codes, barcodes, timestamps and imported images.
• Multi-language interface (29 languages) and many material presets.
• Note: continuous label tapes are not supported; preserve the green sticker on the roll back.

Are there any compatibility or usage limitations I should know about?

The P21 pairs with iOS and most Android phones via Bluetooth but is not compatible with desktop computers and has known incompatibility with Android 14 on some devices. Charging requires a USB power adapter (not included).

• Connects only to phones through the Nelko mobile app; no PC/Mac support.
• Not compatible with some Android 14 devices—check device specifics.
• Built-in rechargeable battery for extended printing; charger not in box.
• Do not remove or damage the green sticker on the label roll’s backing.

Who is this for? The Nelko P21 is designed for anyone who needs portable, reliable labeling: busy teachers organizing classrooms, small-business owners printing price tags and inventory labels, parents labeling kids’ belongings, and crafters or home organizers wanting tidy, uniform labels.
