Nature's Blend Freeze-Dried Raw Dog Food for Adult Small Breeds, 6 oz Seafood Blend, High-Protein Shelf-Stable Pouch

Nature's Blend Dr. Marty Freeze-Dried Raw Dog Food is a 6 oz seafood-flavored, freeze-dried complete diet formulated for adult small-breed dogs that preserves fresh ingredients and concentrated nutrition.

This small-breed recipe from Nature's Blend, developed with Dr. Marty, combines freeze-dried ranch-raised beef, duck, fish and other protein sources with fruits and vegetables to deliver a nutrient-rich meal in a convenient pouch. Ingredients are received fresh and gently freeze-dried to lock in flavor and retain valuable nutrients while providing the texture and aroma dogs love. The 6-ounce single pack is designed for portability and trial feeding or to complement a multi-protein rotation for adults of smaller breeds.

What makes freeze-dried raw different from kibble or canned food?

Freeze-dried raw food starts from fresh, minimally processed ingredients that are quickly frozen and dried under controlled conditions to remove moisture while preserving natural nutrients and taste. Unlike kibble, it avoids high-heat extrusion, and unlike wet canned food, it offers concentrated nutrition with a shelf-stable format. This method gives a texture that can be served as-is or rehydrated.

• Lower-temperature processing retains more proteins and heat-sensitive nutrients.
• Lightweight, shelf-stable pouch—no refrigeration required until opened.
• Can be served dry for crunch or rehydrated for a softer meal.

How should I feed this to an adult small-breed dog?

Feeding amounts depend on your dog’s weight, activity level and individual needs; always refer to the feeding guide on the pouch and adjust gradually when switching diets. For smaller dogs, start with the recommended portion and split into two or more meals per day to maintain energy levels. Mix with warm water to rehydrate if your dog prefers a softer texture or to make portioning easier.

• Follow the pouch’s feeding chart, altering for activity and body condition.
• Introduce over 5–7 days, increasing the new food each day for a smooth transition.
• Rehydrate at a 1:1 to 1:3 ratio (food:water) depending on desired texture.

What are the key ingredients and nutritional benefits?

This formula blends multiple animal proteins—seafood focus with ranch-raised beef and duck—plus fruits and vegetables to create a balanced macronutrient profile tailored for adult small breeds. Freeze-drying concentrates nutrients and flavor, providing a protein-forward meal that supports adult maintenance without artificial fillers. The ingredient mix aims to deliver essential amino acids, vitamins and minerals from whole-food sources.

• Multiple protein sources for a broad amino acid profile and palatability.
• Fruit and vegetable inclusions for natural vitamins and fiber.
• No heavy cooking—nutrients preserved through gentle freeze-drying.

How convenient is this packaging for everyday use and travel?

The 6 oz resealable pouch is compact and lightweight, making it easy to portion, store and carry on day trips or as a travel staple for small-breed dogs. Shelf-stable until opened, it saves refrigerator space and simplifies feeding away from home. The pouch size also works well for introducing the diet or rotating proteins without committing to a large bulk bag.

• Resealable pouch keeps remaining food fresh between meals.
• Compact form factor fits in travel bags, crates and pantry shelves.
• Single 6 oz pack ideal for trials, multi-dog sampling, or travel.
