Natural Dog Company Paw Soother dog paw balm stick — 2 oz travel size, shea & hemp moisturizing

Natural Dog Company Paw Soother is a 2 oz stick balm that moisturizes and conditions dry, cracked dog paw pads using shea butter, hemp seed oil, coconut oil, and calendula.

Keep your dog’s paws comfortable after walks, hikes, or playtime with a compact, easy-to-apply balm formulated for regular use. This travel-ready stick delivers concentrated emollients that soften rough pads, help retain moisture, and soothe the skin surface after exposure to hot pavement, sand, or rough ground. The non-toxic formula is created for dogs that may lick their paws, allowing owners to include it in daily paw care routines with confidence.

How does this balm protect paws after hot pavement and long walks?

The balm adds a protective layer and replenishes lost moisture, helping paw pads stay flexible after heat or abrasion. Regular use after outings reduces roughness and supports smoother pad texture without leaving an excessively greasy residue.

• Shea butter and coconut oil restore lipids to dry skin.
• Hemp seed oil locks in hydration for longer-lasting softness.
• Compact 2 oz stick allows targeted application to pads and between toes.

What ingredients are in the formula and why are they chosen?

The recipe combines plant-derived butters and oils with calendula to condition skin gently. Ingredients were selected for moisturizing, soothing, and non-toxic properties appropriate for pets that may lick their paws.

• Shea butter: rich emollient that softens rough paw pads.
• Hemp seed oil: lightweight fatty acids for hydration without heaviness.
• Coconut oil: supports skin barrier and spreadability on pads.
• Calendula: botanical extract commonly used to calm and condition skin.

How do I apply the paw balm for best results?

Apply to clean, dry paws after outdoor activity or before rest for consistent care. A small amount massaged into each pad and the spaces between toes is enough—repeat daily or as needed depending on activity level and weather.

• Wipe paws clean and dry before applying the stick.
• Twist up a small amount and rub gently into pads and interdigital areas.
• Use after walks, hikes, beach days, or nightly as part of a paw routine.

Will my dog lick this off and is it safe?

The balm uses non-toxic, pet-safe ingredients formulated for occasional licking, but it’s still best to allow time for absorption. If your dog licks immediately, the formula avoids harsh chemicals, though preventing ingestion of large amounts remains important.

• Designed with lick-safe, non-toxic components.
• Absorbs into pads rather than leaving a heavy residue.
• For heavy chewing or excessive licking, consult your veterinarian about behavior or irritation causes.
