Natrapel Tick & Insect Repellent Wipes deliver up to 12 hours of protection using a 20% picaridin formula in convenient, travel-ready towelettes.

These pre-moistened wipes are designed for easy, no-fuss application when you’re on the trail, camping, fishing, or managing everyday outdoor tasks. Formulated with 20% picaridin, the wipes repel mosquitoes, ticks, chiggers, and many biting insects, while avoiding DEET and staying gentle on gear and skin. Each pack contains multiple individually sealed wipes to keep them fresh and portable for backpacks, glove boxes, or family outings.

How long will protection last after using a wipe?

One treated wipe provides up to 12 hours of protection under typical outdoor conditions. Protection time depends on activity level, sweat, and water exposure; heavy perspiration or repeated abrasion can reduce effectiveness sooner.

• Up to 12 hours under normal use
• Reapply after heavy sweating or towel drying
• Water exposure may shorten effective time

Is this safe and suitable for children and family use?

Natrapel wipes use picaridin rather than DEET, which many families prefer for its lower odor and non-greasy feel. The formulation is suitable for use on children when applied according to the label; avoid hands, eyes, and broken skin and supervise application for younger kids.

• Child-appropriate when used as directed
• Non-greasy, lightly scented wipe format
• Avoid applying to infants under label instructions and sensitive areas

How do these wipes affect clothing and outdoor gear?

The picaridin formula is designed to be gear-friendly and safe for most intact synthetic fabrics, making it convenient to apply before outings without harming backpacks, tents, or fishing apparel. Still, test on a small hidden area if fabric is delicate or highly absorbent.

• Gentle on intact synthetics and performance fabrics
• Less likely to damage gear than some oily repellents
• Spot-test delicate materials before full application

How do these wipes compare to DEET-based repellents?

Natrapel uses picaridin as an alternative to DEET, offering similar broad-spectrum repellency without the strong chemical odor or greasy residue associated with many DEET products. Picaridin is effective against ticks and mosquitoes and usually better tolerated on gear and by users sensitive to DEET.

• 20% picaridin provides robust bite protection
• No DEET, so lower odor and less greasy feel
• Effective against ticks, mosquitoes, chiggers, and more

Who is this for? These wipes suit outdoor enthusiasts, parents packing light for family trips, anglers, hikers, and anyone needing a compact repellent solution. If you want a portable, easy-to-apply alternative to aerosol or pump sprays that’s kinder to fabrics and convenient for on-the-go protection, the Natrapel Tick & Insect Repellent Wipes are a practical choice. Always read and follow product label directions for age limits, application guidance, and reapplication timing.
