MT Products Biodegradable Egg Flats 15-Pack — Pulp Fiber Trays That Hold 30 Eggs, Compostable & Stackable

These MT Products biodegradable pulp fiber egg flats are a 15-piece set that combines durable, compostable storage for up to 30 large or small eggs with versatile uses around the home, garden, classroom, or hobby setup.

Designed from pressed pulp fiber, each tray in this 15-piece pack stacks to hold up to two levels (30 total egg slots) and offers a thicker, sturdier build than many retail cartons. The neutral, rustic finish is fully recyclable and compostable, making these flats a practical choice for small farms, backyard flock keepers, craft rooms, or anyone who needs inexpensive, reusable trays for lightweight items.

How strong are these egg trays for transporting eggs?

The MT Products pulp fiber trays are made with solid pressed fiber to resist tearing and crushing during normal handling. They are thicker than typical grocery cartons and designed to protect eggs when moved or stacked.

• Holds up to 30 eggs when using two stacked trays.
• Pressed fiber construction reduces punctures and breaks.
• Edges and cell walls reinforced to support light stacking.

Can I reuse and compost these pulp fiber egg flats?

Yes — these trays are both reusable and compostable. Their sturdy fiber allows multiple uses for storage or projects, and when they wear out you can tear them up to add to a compost pile or recycle where accepted.

• Durable enough for repeated household use.
• Biodegradable material breaks down in composting conditions.
• Ink-free, neutral color is easy to shred for compost or seed starting.

What other uses do these egg cartons have besides holding eggs?

The design of these flats makes them useful for crafts, seed starting, small parts organization, and even as inexpensive habitat structures in pet or insect setups. Their uniform cells and neutral texture are handy for many DIY and hobby applications.

• Seed trays for starting seedlings — tear cells to separate individual pots.
• Organizers for screws, beads, bath bombs, or party favors.
• Habitat layering or hiding surfaces for small invertebrate enclosures.

Are these trays suitable for different egg sizes?

These trays are labeled extra-large capacity: the cell shape and depth accommodate large, medium, and small eggs alike. If you have a mix of sizes, the pressed fiber provides gentle support that cradles eggs without excessive movement.

• Cell dimensions accept chicken and larger duck eggs comfortably.
• Flexible fiber conforms slightly to protect odd shapes.
• Stackable design keeps eggs secure during storage.

Who is this for? MT Products biodegradable pulp fiber egg flats suit homesteaders, backyard poultry keepers, gardeners, teachers, crafters, and hobbyists who want an economical, eco-friendly tray that’s durable enough for repeated use yet compostable at end of life.
