Mount Hagen Organic Freeze-Dried Instant Coffee Medium Roast — 7.05oz Resealable Pouch, 100% Arabica

Mount Hagen Organic Freeze-Dried Instant Coffee is a medium-roast instant made from 100% Arabica beans, delivering smooth, brewed-like flavor in a convenient resealable 7.05oz refill pouch.

Enjoy a no-fuss cup that aims to taste closer to brewed coffee than typical instant varieties. This freeze-dried instant originates from Papua New Guinea Arabica beans and is processed to retain aroma and body while offering the convenience of instant preparation. The pouch is designed for everyday use at home or on the move and contains roughly 100 cups worth of coffee when prepared to standard strength.

What makes this instant coffee taste more like brewed coffee?

The product uses a freeze-drying method that preserves volatile aromatics and natural oils better than spray-dried instant coffees. Because it’s made from 100% Arabica beans sourced from Papua New Guinea, the cup has balanced, mild flavor with lower perceived bitterness and acidity. That combination—single-bean Arabica plus careful freeze-dry processing—gives a fuller body and cleaner finish than many instant alternatives.

• Freeze-dried to lock in aroma and body
• 100% Arabica beans for smoother flavor
• Low acidity and minimal bitterness

How do I prepare it for hot, cold, or specialty drinks?

Preparation is flexible: stir the desired amount into hot water for a classic cup, dissolve in cold water for iced coffee, or whip into milk for lattes and cold foam drinks. The granules dissolve quickly with stirring—no special equipment required—and adapt well to sweeteners, milk, or plant-based alternatives. For consistent results, follow a simple ratio and adjust to taste.

• Hot coffee: 1 level teaspoon per 6–8 oz of hot water
• Iced coffee: dissolve in a small warm water first or shake with cold water and ice
• Latte or iced latte: mix with warmed or frothed milk for creamier texture

Is this product responsibly sourced and suitable for everyday use?

Yes — the coffee is both USDA Organic and Fair Trade Certified, showing commitments to organic farming practices and equitable producer relationships. The pouch is resealable, lightweight, and intended as a refill option to reduce waste compared with disposable single-serve formats. There are no added fillers or preservatives; it’s pure instant coffee intended for regular household or travel use.

• USDA Organic and Fair Trade Certified beans
• No additives, fillers, or preservatives
• Resealable pouch for freshness and portability

How many cups does a 7.05oz pouch make and how should I store it?

The 7.05oz refill pouch yields approximately 100 standard-strength cups depending on the scoop size and personal strength preferences. Store the pouch in a cool, dry place and seal after each use to preserve aroma and prevent moisture exposure. For longer-term freshness, transfer to an airtight container if you won’t use it frequently.

• About 100 cups at standard measuring ratios
• Keep sealed away from heat, light, and moisture
• Refill existing Mount Hagen jars or use an airtight container

Who is this for: This pouch is aimed at coffee drinkers who want the convenience of instant coffee without sacrificing a brewed-like taste. It suits busy mornings, travel, office setups, campers, and households who prefer organic and fair-trade sourcing. If you value quick preparation, low acidity, and a resealable refill option that reduces single-use waste, this medium-roast freeze-dried coffee is designed for you.
