Molly's Suds Oxygen Whitener laundry booster — 158 oz (2×79 oz), chlorine-free, lemon-scented brightener

Molly's Suds Oxygen Whitener is a powerful, chlorine-free laundry booster that brightens whites, lifts stains, and is safe on color when used as directed.

This oxygen-based whitener arrives in large 158 oz bulk (two 79 oz bags) and is scented with pure lemon essential oil rather than synthetic fragrances. It’s formulated to tackle yellowing, dinginess, and many common stains while avoiding chlorine bleach, dyes, and harsh additives. The formula works best as a soak, additive, or targeted paste and is compatible with standard and HE machines. Test delicate fabrics off-seam before full use.

How does this product revive dingy whites and remove yellowing?

The whitener releases oxygen to break down organic residues that cause graying and yellow tones, helping fabrics appear brighter without using chlorine. It dissolves stains from oils, body soils, and hard water deposits to restore a cleaner look to linens and clothing.

• Use as a soak: dissolve two scoops in hot water for up to two hours.
• Machine boost: add measured scoop to wash drum or dispenser in both HE and standard machines.
• Safe on most whites and bright colors when tested first.
• Avoid use on wool, silk, or leather.

What’s the best way to treat set-in stains like wine, oil, or makeup?

For spot treatments, make a paste from the powder and water, apply to the stain, let it dry, then brush away residue before laundering. For heavy or set-in stains, soak garments in hot water with the recommended scoops to loosen and lift stubborn spots.

• Spot paste: apply directly, allow to dry, brush off, then wash.
• Soak method: two scoops per soak in hot water, up to two hours.
• Repeat soaking for persistent stains, checking fabric care labels first.
• Avoid on protein-rich stains without pre-rinsing in cold water first.

Can I use this whitener outside of laundry, and how safe is it on surfaces?

This product doubles as a household brightener for porcelain and fabrics beyond clothing. Sprinkle into toilets, sinks, or tubs to help remove hard water and mineral staining, or add to carpet-cleaning machines for deeper stain lifting. It’s formulated without chlorine, making it milder on many hard surfaces than bleach, but always test a hidden area first.

• Porcelain brighten: sprinkle or dissolve to tackle hard water rings.
• Carpet cleaning: add a scoop to the machine’s water compartment for added lift.
• Not recommended for natural fibers like wool or delicate surfaces such as unsealed stone.
• Rinse thoroughly after surface use to remove any residue.

How much product do I get and which machines is it compatible with?

The package contains two resealable 79 oz bulk bags for a total of 158 oz and includes a measuring scoop. It is labeled safe for use in both high-efficiency (HE) and conventional washers when used according to directions. Store bags closed and dry to maintain potency.
