Minties Dog Dental Bone Treats for Tiny/Small Dogs (5–25 lb) — 120 Count, Cleans Teeth & Freshens Breath

Minties Tiny/Small Dog Dental Bone Treats are crunchy, vet-recommended chews made to help clean teeth, freshen breath, and reduce plaque buildup for dogs 5–25 lbs.

Minties combine a textured chew shape with five natural breath fresheners — peppermint, parsley, fennel, dill, and alfalfa — to support everyday oral care. Formulated without corn, wheat, soy, added sugars, or salts, these treats are intended to be gentle on sensitive stomachs while offering a tasty reward. Made in the USA and available in size options for tiny, small, medium, and large dogs, the tiny/small option is tailored to dogs weighing roughly 5–25 pounds for safer chewing and effective tooth contact.

How do Minties treats help keep my small dog’s teeth cleaner?

The bone-like shape and bumpy texture of Minties encourage chewing motions that mechanically scrub tooth surfaces and massage gums. Regular chewing helps dislodge soft plaque and reduce the rate at which tartar forms, contributing to a cleaner mouth between dental checkups.

• Textured surface designed to reach crevices along the teeth.
• Consistent chewing action helps loosen food and plaque particles.
• Daily use complements brushing and professional cleanings.

What ingredients are in Minties, and are they safe for sensitive stomachs?

Minties use a blend of natural breath fresheners — peppermint, parsley, fennel, dill, and alfalfa — combined with a base formula free from corn, wheat, soy, added sugars, and added salts. This simplified ingredient profile is intended to reduce common dietary triggers and make the chews suitable for many dogs prone to sensitivities.

• No corn, wheat, or soy in the recipe.
• No added sugars or salts that can upset digestion.
• Natural herbs for breath support rather than artificial flavors.

How should I give Minties to my tiny or small dog safely?

Choose the correct size (tiny/small) for dogs between 5 and 25 pounds and supervise the first few chews to confirm appropriate chewing behavior. Offer one treat as a reward or part of a daily routine, and adjust frequency according to your dog’s chewing intensity and dietary needs.

• Always provide fresh water during treat time.
• Monitor chewing to prevent large fragments or gulping.
• Store in a cool, dry place and use within the recommended timeframe.

Will Minties replace brushing or professional dental care?

Minties are designed to complement, not replace, regular tooth brushing and professional veterinary cleanings. They help reduce daily plaque accumulation and freshen breath, but routine at-home care and periodic vet exams remain essential for long-term dental health.

• Supports everyday oral hygiene alongside brushing.
• Helps manage plaque formation between dental visits.
• Consult your veterinarian for a complete dental plan.

Who is this for: Minties Tiny/Small Dog Dental Bone Treats are suited for pet owners who want an easy-to-use, vet-recommended chew to help manage plaque and freshen breath for small-breed dogs. They appeal to families seeking treats made in the USA with a reduced-ingredient approach—no corn, wheat, soy, or added sugars—while still providing a flavorful chew that dogs enjoy. If you want a daily, convenient supplement to regular dental care and a treat your 5–25 lb dog can comfortably chew, Minties are crafted with that purpose in mind.
