Mintakawa Automatic Cat Litter Box Self-Cleaning White — App Control, Weight Monitor, Ultra-Quiet

Mintakawa's automatic cat litter box is a self-cleaning, app-connected litter system with quiet operation and integrated weight monitoring for small to medium cats.

This compact, white self-cleaning litter box combines automated waste removal with remote monitoring so you can track visits, weight and usage trends from your phone. Designed for kittens and cats roughly 3.5–15 lb, it promises low sound levels, simple maintenance and an anti-pinch rotary cleaning drum that keeps scooping to a minimum. Assembly is required and the package includes a washable drum for easier hygiene.

How does the automatic cleaning cycle work?

The unit uses a rotating drum that separates waste from clean litter and deposits clumps into a sealed tray, reducing manual scooping. Cleaning cycles can be scheduled through the mobile app or triggered manually, and the anti-pinch design stops rotation if an obstruction is detected.

• Rotating drum separates clumped waste from clean litter for efficient removal.
• Sealed waste compartment minimizes odor exposure between cleanings.
• Anti-pinch safety halts rotation if the sensor detects an object or pet.
• App or onboard controls let you set timing and cycle frequency.

What monitoring and app features will I get?

The companion app connects via 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi or Bluetooth to relay visit history, duration and an approximate weight reading after each exit. Real-time alerts notify you of completed cycles, full waste bins or abnormal activity so you can respond quickly.

• Visit logs show timestamped entries and duration for each use.
• Weight monitoring records approximate bodyweight after each visit for trend tracking.
• Push notifications for cycle completion, full waste drawer and error conditions.
• Connects over 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi or Bluetooth for flexible setup options.

How easy is maintenance and cleaning?

Maintenance is designed to be straightforward: lift out the drum for rinsing and empty the sealed waste drawer as needed. The washable drum and simple internal layout make routine cleaning quicker than traditional boxes, though you should still follow the included instructions for best hygiene.

• Removable drum allows for fast rinsing and drying.
• Washable components reduce trapped odors and residue buildup.
• Accessible waste drawer simplifies disposal and replacement of liners.
• Recommended periodic deep clean keeps sensors and motor operating smoothly.

Is this unit suitable for my cat’s comfort and safety?

Yes—the interior is sized for kittens and medium cats up to about 15 lb, and the motor is kept under 35 dB to avoid startling sensitive pets. Safety features like anti-pinch sensors and automatic stop function protect curious paws during operation.

• Interior dimensions support cats and kittens in the 3.5–15 lb range.
• Low-noise operation (under 35 dB) reduces stress during use.
• Anti-pinch sensors prevent the drum from turning if obstructed.
• Stable base and non-slip feet help keep the box secure while in use.

Who is this for? This Mintakawa self-cleaning litter box suits busy pet owners who want less daily scooping, multi-cat households needing automated waste management, and anyone who values remote monitoring of litter habits and weight trends. It’s an especially good fit for homes with kittens and medium-sized cats under 15 lb, where quiet operation and straightforward cleaning are priorities. Note that setup takes about 30 minutes, so plan to review the instruction manual and setup video before first use.
