Mikro Innovations Tall Glass Microwave Splatter Cover — 10.5in Borosilicate Glass with Silicone Grip & Dual Vents

Reheat and steam foods with less mess using the Mikro Innovations Tall Glass Microwave Splatter Cover. Made from tempered borosilicate glass, this 10.5-inch lid is designed to be durable, fully food-safe, and transparent so you can monitor cooking without lifting the cover. The raised profile accommodates taller bowls and plates, while the dual-hole vent system releases excess steam to keep foods from becoming soggy.

How does this glass cover stop microwave messes without creating condensation?

The cover contains most grease and sauce splatters while allowing controlled steam escape. Two strategically placed vent holes release steam gradually, reducing build-up of moisture on the inside surface so foods reheat without soggy textures.

• Dual-hole ventilation that balances steam release and moisture retention
• Tall profile fits higher bowls and stacked plates
• Clear glass lets you watch food without lifting the lid

Is the material safe and long-lasting for everyday use?

This lid is made of hardened borosilicate glass that resists thermal shock better than ordinary glass, and it is naturally free from BPA and lead. Because no plastics contact food, there is no risk of chemical leaching, and the robust construction is meant for repeated microwave cycles.

• 100% food-safe borosilicate glass — no BPA, no lead
• Heavy-duty thickness for extended product life
• Designed and engineered for frequent microwave use

How easy is it to handle and clean this microwave cover?

A soft silicone handle remains cool enough to grab after reheating and offers a confident grip when removing the lid. Cleanup is fast: the all-glass surface wipes clean or goes in the dishwasher without special care, so you can return it to service quickly.

• Microwave-safe silicone handle for comfortable removal
• Dishwasher-safe glass for effortless cleaning
• Non-porous surface resists staining and odors

Will this cover fit the dishes I already own?

The 10.5-inch diameter and tall dome shape were chosen to accommodate a wide range of bowls, plates, and small casserole dishes. Its generous height makes it suitable for layered plates or taller containers that standard low-profile lids can’t cover.

• 10.5 inches across to cover most dinner plates and medium bowls
• Tall dome design fits layered or bulkier dishes
• Universal shape works with ceramic, glass, and microwave-safe plastic plates

Who this is for: The Mikro Innovations Tall Glass Microwave Splatter Cover is ideal for home cooks, busy parents, and small offices that want a reusable, food-safe way to reduce microwave cleanup and preserve food texture. It suits anyone who prefers glass over plastic for reheating, values a clear view of their food while it heats, and needs a rugged, dishwasher-safe solution that fits taller dishes.
