Mikasa VX20 Beach Volleyball Official Size - Yellow/Blue/White, Soft Synthetic with Butyl Bladder

The Mikasa VX20 Beach Classic is an official-size, machine-stitched synthetic beach volleyball with a three-color panel layout for clear flight tracking and dependable air retention.

Designed as an accessible alternative to Mikasa's elite FIVB and Olympic models, the VX20 brings reliable performance to casual beach days, workouts and recreational leagues. Its super-soft synthetic leather cover and butyl bladder balance comfort and shape stability. The optic yellow, blue and white panels improve visibility and make it easier to read spins and trajectories during rallies.

How well does the VX20 perform for beach play and casual matches?

The VX20 was built for sand play and recreational competition, offering a soft touch and predictable flight that suit a wide range of players. While not the top-tier professional model, it delivers consistent bounces and durable stitching that stands up to repeated beach use.

• Machine-stitched synthetic leather cover for a soft, controlled feel
• Three-color design helps you track ball rotation and direction
• Butyl bladder maintains shape and steady air pressure
• Official size and weight for standard beach rules

Is the VX20 durable enough for frequent outdoor or gym use?

Yes — the VX20 uses reinforced, machine-stitched panels and a resilient bladder that tolerate sand, sun and regular play. Proper inflation and routine care, like rinsing off sand and storing away from direct sun, will extend its life span significantly.

• Machine stitching reduces the risk of panel separation
• Synthetic leather resists abrasion from sand and court surfaces
• Butyl bladder helps prevent rapid air loss between inflations

How do I inflate and maintain the VX20 for best performance?

For optimal play, inflate the ball to the manufacturer-recommended pressure (check the printed guideline on the ball). Using a standard ball pump and needle, add air gradually and test feel; overinflation can make the ball too hard, underinflation affects control.

• Ball pump and inflation needle required but not included
• Top-up pressure before matches for consistent bounce and flight
• Rinse sand off and dry before storage to protect the cover

What makes the three-color pattern useful on the court?

The blue, yellow and white panel arrangement is more than aesthetic: it provides visual cues about spin, speed and orientation in flight. That aid helps servers, receivers and blockers react faster, especially in bright outdoor conditions.

• High-contrast panels reveal rotational movement
• Improves tracking during fast rallies and serves
• Helps teammates anticipate ball trajectory in noisy, sunny environments

Who is this for? The Mikasa VX20 Beach Classic is ideal for beach players, recreational leagues, gym classes and families who want an affordable, tournament-sized ball with quality construction. It suits players who value a soft touch and clear visual tracking without investing in pro-level competition models. If you need a dependable, easy-to-read ball for regular outdoor play or casual matches, the VX20 is a practical choice.
