Mighty Paw Yak Cheese Chews for Dogs — Large 12-Pack, Long-Lasting Odorless Chews for Teeth & Chewing

Mighty Paw Yak Cheese Chews are hard, long-lasting dog treats made from just milk, salt and lime juice for a natural, low-odor chew that supports healthy teeth and focused chewing.

These Himalayan-style cheese sticks are handcrafted from yak and cow milk using a traditional curing method that removes lactose and yields a dense, protein- and calcium-rich snack. Free from grains, preservatives, chemicals and common allergens, they’re intended as an alternative to rawhide or soft processed chews. Their firm texture resists quick consumption, making them useful for teething puppies, distracted chewers and dogs up to about 75 lbs.

How are these yak cheese chews made and why does that matter?

The chews are produced in Nepal from only three ingredients: yak and cow milk, salt and lime juice. The long curing and pressing process creates a hard, dry chew that is lactose-reduced and shelf-stable without added preservatives.

• Made from traditional Himalayan methods using milk, salt and lime juice
• Lactose is reduced through curing, making the chews more digestible
• No grains, gluten, chemicals, or artificial preservatives

What benefits can I expect for my dog’s oral health and behavior?

The firm texture encourages sustained gnawing, which can help scrape away soft tartar and reduce plaque buildup from regular chewing activity. Because they are odorless and mess-free, they’re suitable indoors and for scent-sensitive households.

• Promotes chewing that helps reduce tartar accumulation
• Low odor and non-greasy, ideal for indoor use
• Long-lasting format helps occupy anxious or bored dogs

Are these chews safe for puppies and power chewers?

They are marketed as suitable for teething puppies and strong chewers up to roughly 75 lbs, thanks to their hard, durable consistency. As with any chew, supervise pets during use and replace pieces that become small enough to swallow.

• Firm chew texture ideal for teething and heavy chewers
• Appropriate for many dogs up to about 75 lbs
• Monitor chew size and discard small or sharp fragments

How do these compare to rawhide or softer treats?

Unlike bleached rawhide or heavily processed snacks, these cheese chews contain only a few natural ingredients and no fillers. Their dense composition means they last longer than soft treats and avoid greasy residues that attract dirt and stains.

• Limited-ingredient formula vs. processed rawhide
• Less mess and no oily residue on furniture or floors
• Hardness creates longer engagement than soft treats

Who is this for: Mighty Paw Yak Cheese Chews are suited to dog owners seeking a simple, minimally processed chew that lasts, smells little and contributes to routine dental wear. They’re particularly appealing for families wanting natural ingredients, owners of teething puppies, and caretakers of moderately strong chewers who prefer a grain-free, preservative-free alternative to rawhide.
