Mighty Max Battery YTX4L-BS 12V 3Ah ATV/Quad/Pit Bike Battery — AGM, Spill-Proof, Vibration-Resistant

This compact battery delivers 50 cold-cranking amps (CCA) and is engineered for tight engine bays on 50–125cc off-road bikes. Its sealed AGM construction makes it spill-proof and service-friendly — you can mount it in virtually any orientation without worry. The YTX4L-BS is a direct-fit option when your vehicle calls for a 12V 3Ah battery with negative-left, positive-right polarity, and it ships with the battery and mounting screws included.

Will this battery fit my ATV or pit bike?

Check your bike’s manual or the existing battery dimensions and terminal orientation before buying. The YTX4L-BS fits many small-displacement vehicles and is a common replacement for 50–125cc quads and dirt bikes.

• Physical size: 4.40" x 2.90" x 3.42" (L×W×H).
• Terminal arrangement: negative on left, positive on right when terminals face you.
• Capacity: 12V, 3Ah — suitable for kickstarts and electric starts in small engines.
• Compatibility: common for 50/70/110/125cc ATV and pit bike models.

How does the sealed AGM design help in off-road use?

The absorbed glass mat (AGM) technology keeps electrolyte contained in the glass fibers, so the battery is spill-proof and safer to mount in multiple positions. AGM also supports higher discharge rates needed for starters and recovers well from deep discharges compared with some flooded batteries.

• Spill-proof construction allows versatile mounting angles.
• High discharge capability delivers reliable starting power (50 CCA).
• Better vibration resistance than standard wet-cell batteries.
• Improved recovery from deep discharge events when properly charged.

What performance and durability can I expect in varied temperatures?

This battery is built to tolerate wide operating temperatures and maintain consistent output for starting and electronics. While extreme cold reduces available cranking amps, the YTX4L-BS offers dependable performance across typical riding conditions.

• Rated for wide temperature ranges common to off-road use.
• Stable starting performance in warm and cold conditions within typical limits.
• Sealed construction prevents moisture ingress and corrosion of internals.
• Designed to resist shocks and vibration from rough terrain.

What’s included and are there any installation notes?

The listing includes the battery and screws only — no harnesses or mounting brackets are supplied. Installation is straightforward for standard battery trays, but verify terminal orientation and secure mounting to avoid movement and wear.

• Included: YTX4L-BS battery and mounting screws.
• Not included: wire harness, straps or mounting brackets.
• Tip: ensure firm tray fit and clean terminal connections for best performance.
• Comes with a full one-year warranty from the manufacturer.
