Mighty Max Battery 12V 8Ah AGM Rechargeable SLA Battery ML8-12 with F1 Terminal, Compact Sealed

The Mighty Max ML8-12 is a sealed 12‑volt, 8 amp‑hour AGM rechargeable battery with an F1 terminal, built for maintenance‑free power in a wide range of devices.

The ML8-12 uses absorbent glass mat (AGM) technology and a heavy‑duty calcium‑alloy grid to deliver reliable float and cyclic performance without leakage or routine upkeep. Its valve‑regulated sealed design allows indoor and enclosed installation, and the compact footprint fits many consumer electronics, mobility devices, security systems, and small vehicle applications.

How does the ML8-12 perform in everyday devices?

This battery is engineered for steady output and long service life across typical consumer and light commercial uses. It supports moderate continuous draws and repeated recharge cycles thanks to the AGM construction and a robust internal grid.

• 12 volts nominal and 8 Ah capacity for run times aligned with small electronics and backup systems.
• AGM format provides low self‑discharge and good energy retention during storage.
• Valve‑regulated, maintenance‑free design safe for enclosed placements.

What mounting, size, and terminal details should I check?

The ML8-12 has compact dimensions and an F1 quick‑connect terminal that fits many legacy and current devices. Confirm the battery's 5.94" x 2.56" x 4.02" size and F1 terminal type before replacing an existing pack or designing a compartment.

• Physical size: 5.94 inches long, 2.56 inches wide, 4.02 inches high.
• Terminal: F1 (faston) for common push‑on connectors and harnesses.
• Listing includes battery only; no wiring, clips, or mounting hardware supplied.

Can the ML8-12 handle rough use, temperature changes, and deep discharges?

The sealed AGM construction resists shocks and vibration and tolerates a broad temperature range better than many flooded lead‑acid cells. It also exhibits improved deep‑discharge recovery characteristics, making it suitable for cyclic applications and sporadic heavy draws.

• Spill‑proof AGM design allows mounting in multiple orientations without leakage.
• Engineered for high discharge rates and improved recovery after deep drains.
• Durable construction resists vibration for portable equipment and power sports.

Who is this for: The Mighty Max ML8-12 is targeted at users needing a compact, dependable sealed lead‑acid battery for backup power, mobility equipment, small electric vehicles, security and alarm systems, emergency lighting, hobby projects, and other consumer or light‑commercial applications. Choose the ML8-12 when you need a maintenance‑free 12V battery with F1 terminals that fits tight spaces and offers stable performance across float and cyclic use.
