MICROBE-LIFT Biological Mosquito Control Liquid for Ponds — 2 fl oz Concentrated, EPA-Registered Treatment

MICROBE-LIFT BMC is a concentrated biological liquid that controls mosquito larvae in decorative ponds, fountains and water gardens up to 2,000 gallons with safe, EPA-registered ingredients.

Keep outdoor water features pleasant and usable with a targeted biological treatment designed to act throughout the entire water column. Unlike floating tablets that only treat the surface, this liquid formula disperses quickly to reach larvae at all depths while remaining compatible with fish, plants and wildlife when used as directed.

How does MICROBE-LIFT BMC reduce mosquito populations in my pond?

The product contains biological agents that target mosquito larvae, interrupting their development so fewer adults emerge. It’s formulated for even distribution so it reaches shallow margins and deeper areas where larvae hide.

• EPA-registered biological active ingredient
• Liquid disperses through the entire water column
• Controls developing mosquito stages rather than adult mosquitoes

How do I apply it and how often should I treat?

Measure by water volume: add 6 drops of concentrate per 100 gallons. Reapply every other week during mosquito season or after heavy rainfall for continuous coverage.

• 6 drops per 100 gallons of water
• Apply every other week for ongoing protection
• Adjust frequency after major storms or water changes

Will this harm my fish, plants, pets, or wildlife?

MICROBE-LIFT BMC is registered for use in areas that contain aquatic life and can be applied where humans, pets, livestock and wildlife may come in contact with treated water when used according to label directions. It’s formulated to target mosquito larvae specifically, minimizing effects on non-target species.

• EPA registration for use around aquatic life
• Compatible with most pond plants and fish when used properly
• Safe for areas accessible to people and animals per label

How much area does one 2 fl oz bottle cover and what is the longevity?

Coverage and duration vary by treated volume. A full 2 fl oz bottle can treat smaller volumes for longer periods, or larger volumes for shorter spans—choose dosage based on your pond size and treatment schedule.

• Treats 400 gallons for up to about 24 months at recommended intervals
• Treats roughly 500 gallons for up to 20 months
• Treats approximately 700 gallons for up to 13 months

Who is this for: MICROBE-LIFT BMC is designed for homeowners, landscapers, and facility managers who maintain decorative water features and want effective mosquito control without unsightly surface products. It’s a fit when you need a concentrated, easy-to-measure liquid that treats the full depth of ponds, fountains and other ornamental waters while remaining compatible with aquatic life when applied according to the label.
