Micro Ingredients Organic Ceylon Cinnamon Powder — 2 lb Sri Lanka Source, Fine Grind, Additive-Free

Micro Ingredients Organic Ceylon Cinnamon Powder is a single-ingredient spice sourced from Sri Lanka and milled to a fine, even texture. This 2 lb pouch supplies a pantry-ready amount with a measured 2 g scoop per serving, designed for everyday use in recipes, drinks, and spice blends. The flavor profile is smooth and subtly sweet, making it easy to layer into desserts, breakfasts, and savory dishes without overpowering other ingredients.

How does this Ceylon cinnamon differ from other cinnamon varieties?

Ceylon cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum) is often called "true" cinnamon and has a lighter, more delicate taste than common cassia varieties. It offers a gentle aromatic sweetness and a thin bark when whole, which translates into a refined powder ideal for nuanced recipes.

• Origin: sourced from Sri Lanka for authentic Ceylon characteristics
• Flavor: milder, less bitter, and more floral than cassia
• Texture: finely ground for even dispersal in batters and beverages
• Use: better suited where subtle spice is preferred, such as custards and lattes

What are the practical kitchen uses for this 2 lb pouch?

The 2 lb size is convenient for home cooks, bakers, and small-scale food makers who use cinnamon regularly. Its consistent grind and flavor make it simple to add to both sweet and savory preparations, from spice rubs to smoothies.

• Baking: cinnamon rolls, spice cakes, muffins, and cookies
• Drinks: stir into coffee, chai, hot chocolate, and smoothies
• Breakfasts: sprinkle on oatmeal, yogurt, and fruit for balanced warmth
• Cooking: blend into stews, spice rubs, and sauces for subtle depth

Is this product certified and suitable for special diets?

Yes — the powder is certified organic and non-GMO, made from a single ingredient without additives. Manufacturing follows cGMP processes and third-party testing to ensure quality and consistency, and the product is free from common allergens such as soy, dairy, gluten, and tree nuts.

• Organic certification confirms ingredient sourcing and handling
• Non-GMO for those avoiding genetically modified ingredients
• Third-party lab testing supports purity and consistent flavor
• Allergen-free formulation suitable for many restricted diets

How should I store and measure this cinnamon for best results?

Keep the pouch sealed and stored in a cool, dark place to preserve aroma and color. Use the included 2 g scoop for reliable portions—453 servings per pouch—so recipes stay consistent without weighing each measurement.

• Storage: airtight container away from heat and light
• Measurement: use the 2 g scoop for repeatable results
• Freshness tip: replace pouch in cupboard within 6–12 months for peak flavor
• Application tip: add cinnamon near end of cooking to maintain aroma

Who is this for: Micro Ingredients Organic Ceylon Cinnamon Powder is suited to home bakers, daily coffee or tea drinkers, recipe developers, and anyone who prefers a true cinnamon flavor that blends smoothly into dishes.
