Melnor MiniMax Turbo sprinkler — compact oscillating 4,000 sq ft coverage, 360° aim, adjustable flow & range (Green sled)

The Melnor MiniMax Turbo is a compact oscillating sprinkler that delivers adjustable, full‑size lawn coverage up to 4,000 sq. ft. with 360° aiming, flow controls, and a dirt‑resistant drive.

This small-footprint sprinkler brings the performance of larger oscillating models into a space-saving sled base designed for yards, gardens, and newly seeded areas. It combines precise width, range, and flow adjustments with a rotating top head and a unique Zoom control so you can dial the spray to the exact shape and size of the area you want to water. Built to handle real-world conditions, the Dirt‑Resistant Drive helps the unit keep operating smoothly even when well water contains grit, and the Flo‑Thru base lets you link multiple units for broader coverage.

How do I tailor the spray to fit odd-shaped lawns?

You can customize the MiniMax Turbo to water narrow beds, small patches, or wide lawns without moving the sprinkler. Independent controls let you set the width, range, and overall flow; meanwhile the 360° rotating head and Zoom feature refine which section receives water.

• Width adjustment for narrow vs. wide swaths
• Range control to shorten or extend throw distance
• Flow knob for softer mist or stronger streams
• 360° head rotation to aim spray without relocating the unit

Will it keep working with well water or gritty supply lines?

The MiniMax Turbo includes a Dirt‑Resistant Drive engineered to let water bypass internal gears when grit is present. That reduces jams and maintains steady operation so you don’t have to clean the mechanism after every use.

• Bypass path prevents grit buildup on gears
• Durable components for longer service life
• Consistent spray pattern even with imperfect water
• Low-maintenance design fewer cleanings required

Can I expand watering coverage without extra hoses?

Yes — the Flo‑Thru sled base allows you to connect multiple sprinklers in series to cover larger areas without moving a single unit. The included QuickConnect Starter Set speeds up attachments and changes, even while water is running.

• Flo‑Thru base for daisy-chaining multiple units
• QuickConnect Starter Set for fast hookups
• Change tools and adapters under pressure safely
• Use product adapters to swap nozzles and wands quickly

What maintenance and warranty should I expect?

Maintenance is minimal: rinse debris from the nozzle area and check connections. Because Melnor backs the product with a Limited Lifetime Warranty, you get support if components fail under normal use.

• Simple rinsing and occasional nozzle checks
• Replaceable adapters and quick-connect parts
• Limited Lifetime Warranty from Melnor
• Designed for season‑after‑season performance

Who is this for: Homeowners and gardeners who want the reach and adjustability of a full-sized oscillating sprinkler without the bulk. The Melnor MiniMax Turbo fits small yards, medium lawns, and garden beds alike, and is especially useful for anyone with well water, modular watering setups, or irregularly shaped green spaces that need precise coverage and low maintenance.
