Melitta Cone Coffee Filters #2 Unbleached Natural Brown 6-Pack — Microfine Perforations, Compostable

Melitta #2 Unbleached Natural Brown Cone Coffee Filters are compostable, flavor-enhancing cone filters sized for 2–6 cup coffee makers and designed to deliver a clean, full-flavored brew without spills.

These Melitta filters combine a thicker, chlorine-free paper with Microfine Flavor-Enhancing Perforations and a double-crimped edge to protect flavor while minimizing mess. Certified by FSC for responsible forestry and by BPI for commercial compostability, they arrive in 100% recycled paperboard packaging and are made in the USA. They fit most 2–6 cup electric cone coffee makers plus 1-cup non-electric cone brewers, offering a reliable single-origin approach to better brewing at home.

How do these filters change the taste of my coffee?

The Microfine Flavor-Enhancing Perforations let water flow evenly while holding back fine grounds and oils that can muddle flavor. That means brighter, clearer cup characteristics and more predictable extraction from your chosen grind and roast. Because the paper is chlorine-free and thicker than standard filters, it traps impurities without imparting papery notes.

• Microfine perforations for more even extraction
• Thicker, chlorine-free paper reduces off-flavors
• Designed to hold back fines while preserving desirable oils

Will these filters fit my coffee maker and avoid spills?

Melitta #2 Unbleached Cone Filters are sized for all 2–6 cup electric cone-style brewers and compatible with 1-cup non-electric cone makers. The proprietary double-crimped design reinforces the paper to resist bursting and keeps the filter seated correctly during brewing, lowering the chance of grounds or liquid spilling into the carafe.

• Universal #2 cone size fits most small cone brewers
• Double-crimped edges reduce risk of tearing or collapse
• Stable shape ensures consistent water-to-coffee contact

Are these filters environmentally responsible?

Yes—Melitta pairs performance with sustainability. The filters are FSC Certified, indicating wood fiber sourced from responsibly managed forests, and BPI Certified for commercial compostability, so they break down in industrial composting facilities. Packaging uses 100% recycled paperboard to minimize waste from delivery to disposal.

• FSC Certified wood fiber supports responsible forestry
• BPI Certified for commercial compostability
• 100% recycled paperboard packaging

What else should I know about quality and certifications?

These filters are made in the USA and carry gluten-free and kosher certifications for broader dietary and manufacturing transparency. Melitta’s design legacy—originating with the inventor of the paper filter—focuses on practical improvements like the Microfine perforations and double crimping to deliver consistent brewing results.

• Made in the USA with quality control standards
