MEKIY Orthopedic Dog Bed for Medium to Large Dogs — Large 36x27x7 in, 3" 28D Egg-Crate Foam & Removable Waterproof Cover

MEKIY Orthopedic Washable Dog Bed is a plush, U-shaped bolster bed with 3 inches of high-density egg-crate foam that relieves pressure and supports medium to large dogs during rest.

This premium dog bed pairs orthopedic comfort with practical features: a supportive 28D foam core, an elevated U-shaped bolster for head and neck support, and a removable waterproof cover that is machine washable. Designed for pets that need joint-friendly cushioning, stable footing, and easy-clean maintenance, the bed aims to combine long-term durability with everyday convenience.

How does the foam construction protect my dog's joints?

The bed uses 3 inches of 28D high-density egg-crate foam engineered to distribute weight evenly and reduce pressure points. The textured foam surface gently cushions hips and shoulders to minimize discomfort for older or active dogs.

• 3 inches of 28D CertiPUR-US certified foam for reliable support
• Egg-crate contouring improves air circulation and pressure distribution
• Helps reduce strain on hips, shoulders and spine during rest

Will the U-shaped bolster help my dog feel secure and comfortable?

The U-shaped bolster wraps around the back and sides but leaves the front open so your dog can fully stretch or curl up. It provides a consistent place to rest the head and neck without restricting movement, making it suitable for dogs that like a headrest as well as those that prefer to sprawl.

• Full U-bolster supports head, neck and back alignment
• No half-side rails—ample stretch area for larger dogs
• Bolster height balances support with easy entry

How easy is it to keep the bed clean and damage-free?

The outer cover is waterproof to protect the foam from accidents and spills, and it zips off for machine washing on a low-heat tumble dry setting. This design keeps the inner mattress fresh while extending usable life and simplifying routine care.

• Removable, waterproof cover for spill protection
• Machine washable cover with low-heat tumble dry instructions
• Nonskid bottom keeps the bed stable on hard floors

What sizes and materials ensure safety and durability?

MEKIY beds are built from tested materials: OEKO-TEX Standard 100-certified textiles, CertiPUR-US foam, and a durable nonskid base for stability. The large size (36 x 27 x 7 inches) fits many dogs under about 50 lbs; if your dog rolls or stretches a lot, consider sizing up for extra room.

• OEKO-TEX and CertiPUR-US certified components for safety
• Luxury velvet cover combines softness with durability
• 36x27x7 inches fits most dogs under 50 lbs; size up if needed

Who is this for: The MEKIY Orthopedic Washable Dog Bed with Bolster suits aging, anxious, or arthritic dogs that need pressure-relieving support, as well as active medium-to-large dogs that appreciate a headrest. It’s also a strong choice for owners who prioritize easy cleaning, certified materials, and a stable nonskid base for use on tile, wood, or laminate floors.
