Mega Racer Slim Matte Black License Plate Frames, 2-Pack — Stainless Steel, UV-Resistant

Mega Racer Premium Slim Matte Black License Plate Frames are a two-pack of slim, street-legal stainless steel plate holders designed to give vehicles a clean, durable, and rattle-free finish.

These minimalist matte-black frames replace bulky or corroded license plate surrounds with a low-profile, two-hole design that fits standard U.S. and Canadian plates. Built from heavy-duty stainless steel and finished with a UV-resistant powder coat, they deliver a sleek appearance while protecting plate edges and resisting the elements. Each set includes foam pads, theft-resistant clips, four screw sizes, and matching matte-black screw caps for a seamless, factory-like look.

Will this frame fit my car or truck?

Yes. The Mega Racer frame uses a universal 2-hole layout and standard 12.3” x 6.4” dimensions so it fits virtually every U.S. and Canadian license plate opening. It’s designed for front and rear mounting across sedans, trucks, SUVs and most EVs.

• Standard plate size compatibility: 12.3” x 6.4”
• Two-hole mounting works with common factory locations
• Rounded edges avoid paint scuffs on bumpers and surrounds
• Compatible with popular models (F150, Tesla, BMW, Toyota, etc.)

How does the frame hold up to weather, car washes, and road wear?

The frame is powder-coated with a matte black finish that resists UV fading, chipping, and corrosion so it remains appearance-ready season after season. Because the body is stainless steel, the frame resists bending, warping, and rust that can affect cheaper aluminum alternatives.

• Heavy-duty stainless steel construction for long-term durability
• UV-resistant powder coat protects against fading and peeling
• Car-wash safe and corrosion-resistant for year-round use
• Protective rounded edges prevent damage to plate and paint

Will the frame rattle or attract theft, and how easy is installation?

Designed to be quiet and secure, each package includes foam vibration pads and two rear clips to lock the plate in place and reduce movement. Installation is a simple four-step DIY process requiring no special tools, and the included screw caps conceal hardware for a clean finish.

• Foam pads absorb vibration and stop rattling
• Rear clips offer extra security and anti-theft resistance
• Comes with four screw sizes, plastic washers, and matte-black caps
• Simple 4-step installation: remove old frame, align, secure, snap caps

Are these frames legal to use where I drive?

They are engineered to remain fully compliant with display rules across all 50 U.S. states and Canada by not obscuring registration tags, state names, or plate numbers. The slim top and bottom edges avoid covering critical plate information while delivering a refined look.

• Meets U.S. and Canadian display requirements for plates
• Does not block registration stickers, state identifiers, or numbers
• Low-profile design reduces the risk of traffic citations
• Two-hole design preserves original mounting alignment
