MECMO 7-Way RV Trailer Wiring Harness Socket — Black Prewired Pigtail with Mounting Bracket and Tin-Plated Terminals

MECMO's 7-way RV trailer connector socket is a ready-to-install, heavy-duty 7-pin wiring harness that converts your vehicle side to a full-function RV trailer connection.

Whether you tow a travel trailer, caravan, utility trailer, or commercial trailer, a reliable 7-way socket is essential for safe, fully functional towing. This MECMO kit supplies a prewired pigtail with color-coded wires, a spring-loaded protective cover, tin-plated copper terminals, and a universal mounting bracket so you can hardwire your truck end quickly and securely.

How does this connector deliver all trailer lighting and brake functions?

The MECMO 7-way socket provides the standard RV-style seven-blade interface so your vehicle can power tail lights, turn signals, brake lights, reverse lights, electric trailer brakes, and a 12V auxiliary circuit. It follows the conventional 7-wire color coding for straightforward hookups and consistent results.

• Seven-blade RV-compatible socket supporting full lighting and brake circuits
• Dedicated 12V auxiliary wire for interior power or battery charging functions
• Prewired pigtail with standard RV color codes for simpler installation

Is the MECMO 7-pin connector durable enough for frequent towing use?

Yes — the housing is made from rust-resistant black plastic and fitted with tin-plated copper terminals to resist corrosion and maintain conductivity. A spring-loaded cover seals the socket when not in use, and the wiring runs inside a sealed tubing conduit to shield against abrasion and moisture.

• Tin-plated copper terminals for improved conductivity and corrosion resistance
• Spring-loaded dust cover keeps contacts clean between uses
• Sealed wiring conduit protects against wear, road debris and moisture

How easy is it to install the MECMO 7-way wiring harness?

The connector arrives prewired as a pigtail so you can hardwire it into your vehicle's existing wiring using butt connectors or by splicing. The kit includes a universal mounting bracket, screws, and nuts, letting you secure the socket in a standard mounting hole for a tidy, permanent fit.

• Prewired harness reduces on-vehicle wiring time and errors
• All-in-one kit includes bracket, screws and nuts for fast mounting
• 180° opening angle eases alignment and plug insertion in tight spaces

What vehicles and trailers is this 7-pin socket compatible with?

This 7-pin RV-style connector is designed for a broad range of towing rigs — from pickup trucks and SUVs to commercial vehicles, caravans, semi-trailers and utility trailers. Voltage compatibility across 6–24V accommodates standard passenger vehicles and many commercial systems.

• Works with trucks, SUVs, RVs, commercial vehicles, and trailers
• Voltage range 6–24V fits common automotive and light commercial applications
