This heavy-duty 50-foot cable combines 10 AWG (5.3 mm²) stranded, tinned copper conductors with a flame-retardant, weather-resistant PVC jacket to provide a reliable, flexible feed for a wide range of low-voltage and household electrical needs. The two conductors are color-coded black and red and the cable is built for long-term outdoor exposure, soldering, and easy terminations.
The Matugajp 10 AWG cable carries up to 53.2 amps and is rated for voltages from small DC levels up to 300V DC/AC, making it suitable for many battery-, inverter- and appliance-level applications. Stranded tinned copper minimizes resistance and heat while improving solderability and corrosion resistance.
The outer PVC jacket is formulated for flame retardance (VW-1 and FT1) and resists UV, moisture, dust, and many corrosive elements, allowing for direct burial and extended sun exposure when properly installed. The tinned strands further protect against oxidation, extending service life in damp or coastal environments.
Stranded construction gives this cable excellent flexibility for routing around corners and through tight spaces, while tin-plated copper strands improve solderability and reduce the risk of strand fray during crimping. The color-coded black and red cores speed up polarity identification for quick, accurate connections.
This cable suits automotive battery feeds, solar or inverter wiring, LED and landscape lighting, outdoor speakers, and appliance or motor leads where durable, low-loss conductors are required. It’s also commonly used in hobby electronics for model cars, boats, and planes that demand reliable power distribution.
Who is this for: Electricians, DIYers, installers, and hobbyists who need a flexible, high-conductivity 10 AWG two-conductor cable for low- to medium-voltage power runs will value Matugajp's 50-foot tinned-stranded solution. Choose this cable when you need corrosion-resistant strands, a flame-retardant jacket, and an easily routed 2-conductor assembly for outdoor or indoor projects where dependable current carrying and solder-friendly conductors matter.
Q: Can this 10 AWG cable be buried outdoors?
A: Yes. The PVC jacket is weather-resistant and rated for direct burial, but use conduit where required by local code.
Q: Is the conductor solid or stranded, and why does it matter?
A: It’s stranded, tinned copper. Stranding increases flexibility and tinned finish improves corrosion resistance and solderability.
