Master Lock Combination Padlock ProSeries 1175LHSS — Long Stainless Shackle, 4-Digit Resettable Weatherproof

Master Lock 1175LHSS ProSeries is a commercial-grade, resettable 4-digit combination padlock with a long stainless-steel shackle and weatherproof design for secure, keyless outdoor use. The 1175LHSS combines solid construction and weather resistance to protect gates, meters, equipment, and shared-access areas without keys. Its 2-1/4 inch solid brass body and long stainless steel shackle offer corrosion resistance and extra reach for larger hasps and hardware, while a 4-digit resettable mechanism gives up to 10,000 code combinations. Designed for high-use environments, the lock includes features to keep grit and moisture out of the mechanism and to resist common physical attacks.

How durable is this lock for outdoor and industrial environments?

The 1175LHSS is built with materials chosen to withstand harsh conditions: a solid brass body reduces corrosion, and a stainless steel shackle adds rust resistance and strength. Seals and a dial dust cover help prevent dirt and moisture from degrading internal parts, extending reliable operation outdoors.

• 2-1/4 in. solid brass body resists corrosion in wet environments.
• Stainless steel long shackle for rust resistance and extra clearance.
• Shackle seal and dial dust cover protect internal components.
• Octagonal boron-carbide shackle offers superior cut resistance.

How easy is it to set and change the combination?

The padlock uses a 4-digit resettable code that yields 10,000 possible combinations and requires no special reset tool. This makes it quick to update codes for rotating crews, contractors, or tenants without rekeying or replacing the lock.

• Resettable 4-digit mechanism for flexible access control.
• No separate reset tool needed—simple code changes on-site.
• Large ergonomic dials for quick entry, even with gloves.
• 10,000 code possibilities to minimize accidental matches.

What security features protect against tampering and forced entry?

Security features focus on resisting common physical attacks: a deadlocking mechanism deters prying, shimming, and rap attacks, while the hardened octagonal boron-carbide shackle increases cut resistance. The lock's design balances attack resistance with practical usability for frequent access.

• Deadlocking mechanism helps prevent pry and shim attacks.
• Octagonal boron-carbide shackle is harder to cut than standard shackles.
• Large dials allow reliable operation under low light or with gloves.
• Robust body and shackle arrangement for commercial-grade use.

Will this fit common gate or equipment hardware?

The extra-long shackle gives the clearance needed for bulky hasps, gate hardware, and equipment enclosures. With a 5/16 inch shackle diameter and roughly 2-1/16 inch shackle height, the lock fits many commercial and industrial applications while leaving room for adjustments.

• Long shackle for larger hasps, chain links, and meter boxes.
• 5/16 in. diameter shackle balances strength and compatibility.
• 2-1/4 in. wide body for a secure seating against wide latch plates.
• Designed for gates, cable boxes, utility meters, storage and job sites.

Who is this lock for? The Master Lock 1175LHSS ProSeries is intended for facilities managers, contractors, property owners, and anyone needing a rugged, keyless padlock for high-use outdoor or industrial settings. It suits locations where corrosion resistance, flexible access control, and resistance to forced entry are priorities—such as gates, utility enclosures, equipment cabinets, and shared-access storage areas. If you rotate personnel, manage shared assets, or install locks in exposed environments, this model delivers resettable convenience and commercial-grade durability without the hassle of keys.
