Marshall Stanmore III Bluetooth Home Speaker — Black, Mid‑Size Room‑Filling Sound & Sustainable Build

The Marshall Stanmore III is a mid-size Bluetooth home speaker that delivers wide, room-filling signature sound with modern connectivity and a sustainable, iconic design.

Compact enough to sit on a shelf yet engineered to deliver a surprisingly expansive soundstage, the Stanmore III brings Marshall’s rock‑inspired audio character into living rooms, studios and offices. The speaker pairs classic styling—analog control knobs and textured grille—with updated acoustic engineering: outward-angled tweeters, refined waveguides and a two-way driver system for balanced bass and clear treble. It’s built with next-generation Bluetooth readiness and uses recycled and vegan materials for a more sustainable footprint.

How does Stanmore III achieve a wider, more immersive soundstage?

The Stanmore III uses a two-way driver layout with tweeters angled away from the cabinet and redesigned waveguides to spread high frequencies across the room. This architecture reduces hotspotting and creates smoother coverage so the sound appears broader and more consistent as you move through a space.

• Angled tweeters disperse treble for a bigger perceived sound field.
• Updated waveguides control dispersion and minimize reflections.
• Dedicated woofer provides controlled, punchy low end without boominess.
• Dynamic Loudness automatically refines tonal balance at different volumes.

What connectivity options and features does it offer for everyday use?

Stanmore III supports Bluetooth 5.2 for reliable wireless streaming and is prepared to add future Bluetooth improvements as they roll out. For wired sources there’s RCA and a 3.5 mm input, giving flexible hookup options to phones, turntables, TVs or mixers.

• Bluetooth 5.2 ensures stable, low-latency connections.
• RCA and 3.5 mm inputs accommodate legacy and analogue devices.
• Simple pairing and physical volume/treble/bass controls for fast setup.
• Placement Compensation adjusts sound near walls or reflective surfaces.

Is the Stanmore III durable and eco-conscious in its build?

Marshall kept the brand’s bold aesthetic while moving to more sustainable materials: the speaker uses PVC-free construction, 70% recycled plastic components and vegan-approved coverings. The robust cabinet and tactile controls are designed for long-term daily use and to maintain Marshall’s iconic look without harmful materials.

• PVC-free housing reduces environmental impact.
• 70% recycled plastic content in the build.
• Vegan materials for grille and exterior finishes.
• Classic Marshall styling with rugged, everyday durability.

How does it perform in real rooms and varied listening levels?

Stanmore III adapts to both low-volume background listening and louder playback. Dynamic Loudness keeps tonal balance consistent at different volumes while Placement Compensation helps correct for bass and reflection issues when the speaker sits near walls or corners.

• Balanced output designed for nearfield and room‑filling use.
• Strong low-end presence without sacrificing midrange clarity.
• Automatic and physical controls let you tune sound to preference.
• Suitable for music, podcasts and TV audio enhancement.

It’s ideal for listeners who value tactile controls, want straightforward pairing, and prefer a more sustainable build without sacrificing classic style or room‑filling performance.
