Whether you want a heartfelt wedding memento, an anniversary tradition, or a unique engagement gift, this all-in-one kit includes the materials and guidance you need to make a professional-looking hand cast at home. The kit combines a premium alginate molding powder with high-detail casting stone, clear instructions, and finishing tools so two people can focus on the moment while the materials handle the technical work.

How simple is the Luna Bean kit to use for first-timers?

The kit is designed for beginners: the alginate sets quickly and faithfully records skin texture while the included casting stone produces a durable finished piece. A printed guide and video tutorial walk you through timing and technique so you won't need prior sculpting experience.

• Step-by-step printed instructions plus an online tutorial
• Fast-setting alginate that captures fine detail
• Tools included for trimming and smoothing the finished cast
• Clear plastic mold container sized for two hands

What materials are inside and are they safe to handle?

The kit contains alginate molding powder and casting stone formulated for hobby use; lightweight tools and sandpaper help finish the piece. Basic precautions like avoiding ingestion, minimizing dust, and rinsing skin after use are recommended—this is not an ingestible product.

• Alginate molding powder (potassium alginate and tetrasodium phosphate)
• Casting stone (calcium sulfate hemihydrate) for a strong final sculpture
• Plastic casting container, sculpting knife, detailing tools, and sandpapers
• Everything pre-measured for a single two-hand cast session

What level of detail can we expect in the finished keepsake?

Luna Bean's formula is tuned to capture minute features—fingerprints, lifelines, and skin texture—so the cast feels intimate and true to life. After curing and light finishing, the sculpture holds fine ridges and contours suitable for display or gifting.

• High-definition alginate reproduces fingerprint ridges
• Casting stone sets to a durable, paintable surface
• Sandpapers and tools let you refine edges and seams
• Ready to paint, seal, or leave natural for display
