Luminara Flameless LED Pillar Candle — 3 in x 4.5 in Ivory, Real-Wax Moving Flame, Battery-Operated

Luminara's 3" x 4.5" ivory pillar is a real paraffin wax candle with a patented moving LED flame that delivers lifelike flicker without an open flame.

This battery-powered decorative pillar combines authentic wax construction with Luminara's moving-flame LED technology to recreate the look of a burning candle while eliminating fire risk, soot, and melted wax mess. It runs on two AA batteries (sold separately) for extended use and includes a built-in timer compatible with Luminara remotes so you can automate lighting for evenings, events, or everyday ambiance.

How realistic does the moving flame look up close?

The LED flame inside this candle shifts and flickers to mimic the motion of a real wick, producing warm white light that reads as natural even at close range. The paraffin wax exterior and slightly irregular top edge enhance the illusion of a traditional pillar candle.

• Patented moving-flame LED mimics natural flicker and movement
• Warm white tone that resembles real candlelight
• Paraffin wax shell with textured top for authentic appearance
• Convincing from a foot away and under typical room lighting

What are the battery life and timer options?

This pillar uses two AA batteries and can provide well over 200 hours of illumination depending on battery quality and usage. The built-in timer mode turns the candle off after five hours and automatically resumes the next day at the same time, and it also works with Luminara remote controls for more flexible scheduling.

• Takes 2 AA batteries (not included)
• Over 200 hours possible with quality alkaline batteries
• Automatic 5-hour on / 19-hour off daily timer setting
• Compatible with Luminara remotes for grouped control

Is this candle safe for homes with kids and pets?

Yes — because there's no open flame, this pillar reduces burn and fire hazards associated with traditional candles. It produces no smoke or molten wax, so it’s safer around curious hands and animals while still offering cozy ambient light.

• No flame, no soot, and no dripping wax
• Durable paraffin shell that won’t liquefy during normal use
• Stable 3" diameter reduces tipping on flat surfaces
• Ideal near textiles, children’s play areas, and pet zones indoors

Where does this size work best in home décor?

The 3" x 4.5" proportions make this pillar a versatile accent for mantels, tabletops, and centerpieces without overpowering small settings. Its ivory color complements neutral and classic schemes and pairs easily with clusters, glass hurricanes, or seasonal arrangements.

• Perfect centerpiece size for dining or coffee tables
• Pairs well with other Luminara pillars for layered displays
• Suitable for weddings, holidays, and everyday décor
• Fits into standard hurricane vases and decorative trays
