Lucas Oil Extreme Duty CLP Kit — 4oz CLP, Needle Oiler & Grease Tube | High-Heat Protection for Firearms

This compact kit combines Lucas Oil’s Extreme Duty 4oz CLP (10915), a 1oz needle oiler (10875), and a 1oz gun grease tube (10889) for a complete maintenance solution. The formulas were developed for demanding shooting environments where reduced friction, reliable corrosion resistance, and precise application matter. All components are made in the U.S.A., sized for range bags or workshop drawers, and intended for use on metal firearm parts and related equipment.

How does this kit simplify firearm maintenance?

The CLP performs three maintenance steps—cleaning, lubricating, and protecting—in one pass, while the needle oiler and grease let you address specific needs. Together they cut time spent switching products and tools during routine care.

• One-step CLP reduces the number of products needed at the bench.
• Needle oiler enables pinpoint lubrication in tight mechanisms.
• Grease provides long-lasting protection on slides and rails.

What kinds of firearms and conditions is this formula built for?

The Extreme Duty line is engineered for high-volume use and parts that see intense heat and friction. It’s suitable for pistols, rifles, shotguns, and threaded barrels when you need dependable lubrication under strain.

• High-friction components such as bolt carriers and slides.
• Range and duty use where repeated firing generates heat.
• Storage protection against moisture and surface corrosion.

How should I use each item in the kit for best results?

Start by applying the CLP to remove fouling and leave a light lubricating film. Use the needle oiler to place small drops into trigger assemblies, sears, or gas ports. Finish with a thin coating of grease on high-pressure or metal-on-metal bearing surfaces.

• Apply CLP with a patch or brush; wipe away loosened residue.
• Use the needle oiler sparingly—one to two drops per contact point.
• Spread grease thinly along rails or locked interfaces; excess can attract debris.

Will these products damage finishes or polymers?

Lucas Oil’s Extreme Duty formulas are designed for metal firearm parts and are commonly used with modern finishes and polymers. As with any maintenance product, test on a small, inconspicuous area if you have concerns about a specific finish or custom coating.

• Safe for most factory metal finishes when used as directed.
• Suitable for polymer frames but avoid excessive buildup in crevices.
• Spot-test specialty coatings or vintage finishes before full application.

Who is this for: This kit suits competitive shooters, range regulars, armorers, and firearm owners who want a compact, professional-grade maintenance set. It’s useful for anyone who needs durable lubrication, precise application, and reliable corrosion protection in a small, portable package.
