LONGEAS Magnetic Screen Door 74 x 82 PET Mesh — Left/Right Opening, Pet & Kid Friendly, Heavy-Duty Velcro

LONGEAS Magnetic Screen Door 74" x 82" is a durable PET-mesh magnetic doorway that keeps insects out while letting fresh air and hands-free pet and child traffic flow through.

This upgraded magnetic screen uses tightly woven PET material that resists wear, oxidation and pet claws better than standard fiberglass or polyester meshes. It installs quickly with wide Velcro tape and strong magnets, offers a reversible left/right opening to match your door handle, and includes a weighted bottom to keep the closure sealed. The design balances airflow, visibility and durability for high-traffic exterior and interior doorways like patios, sliding doors and French doors.

How does the PET mesh compare to fiberglass or polyester?

PET (polyethylene terephthalate) mesh in this LONGEAS screen is denser and tougher than common fiberglass or polyester screens, which improves puncture resistance and lifespan. PET also shows better oxidation resistance, maintaining appearance when exposed to sun and outdoor conditions.

• Denser weave gives improved insect protection and privacy.
• Higher abrasion resistance helps prevent pet claw tears.
• Better resistance to discoloration and outdoor wear.

Will pets and children be able to pass through easily?

The magnetic closure is sized and positioned so children and pets can cross without adult assistance; magnets realign and pull the two panels closed automatically behind them. The soft plush edges protect little hands and paws during use.

• Strong center magnets ensure reliable automatic closing.
• Soft plush border reduces snagging and irritation.
• Weighted bottom rod keeps lower hem sealed against drafts and insects.

What door sizes and types will this fit?

The screen measures 74" x 82" and is recommended for openings up to about 72" x 80" depending on mounting preference. It adapts to many door situations — single doors, double doors, sliding doors and French doors — thanks to the wide Velcro strip and reversible left/right opening design.

• Overall panel: 74" x 82"; fits door frames roughly 72" x 80".
• 1.6-inch widened Velcro for a secure hold on a variety of surfaces.
• Left/right opening lets you position the split to match your door handle.

How easy is installation and maintenance?

Installation is tool-light and fast: measure twice, align the wide Velcro strip to the frame, press the mesh into place, and set the magnets and bottom weight. When not needed, the screen can be removed and stored without damage.

• Quick stick-on Velcro mounting—no drilling required in many cases.
• Bottom weighted rod improves sealing and reduces flapping in wind.
• Removable for off-season storage; spot-clean the mesh as needed.
