How bright and adjustable are the LED heads?

The fixture uses two 1W LED lamp heads that pivot and swivel so you can direct light where it’s most needed. The LEDs produce a crisp cool-white range suitable for illuminating short egress distances and high-contrast wayfinding.

• Dual 1W LEDs with swivel-track and pivot action for precise aiming
• Selectable cooler CCT range for clear visibility along 3'–6' paths
• LED life measured in years for minimal maintenance

What backup runtime and battery type does it use?

The EU2C M6 includes a rechargeable nickel-cadmium battery engineered to provide 90 minutes of emergency operation after a loss of primary power. The battery is maintenance-free and designed for repeated charge/discharge cycles typical of commercial emergency systems.

• 90 minutes of illumination per code expectations
• Maintenance-free nickel-cadmium chemistry included with unit
• Built-in test switch and status indicator for quick functional checks

Is installation straightforward and where can it be mounted?

This model is designed for wall-mount installation and fits standard J-boxes, reducing labor time for most retrofits and new construction. It operates on either 120V or 277V, making it compatible with a wide range of commercial electrical systems.

• Universal wall-mount J-box compatible for quick attachment
• 120/277VAC input at 50/60Hz for flexible wiring options
• Compact dimensions (10-1/8" W x 5-3/8" H x 3-3/4" D) to minimize visual impact

What safety ratings and maintenance features does it offer?

The EU2C M6 carries UL listing for damp indoor locations and complies with several safety and energy standards, ensuring it meets common building and life-safety requirements. The self-diagnostic option automates routine testing so facility managers can confirm readiness with less manual intervention.

• UL listed and compliant with NFPA 101, OSHA, NEC, and CEC Title 20
