LIGHTRO soft foam LED youth football 8" — super-bright glow, motion-activated, batteries included

LIGHTRO is an 8-inch youth foam football with built-in super-bright LEDs and pre-installed batteries that glow automatically during play for safe, low-light tossing and catching.

Designed for kids learning to throw and families who want to take evening games outside, this compact foam football combines a soft, impact-friendly exterior with smart lighting and durable construction. It arrives ready to use with batteries in place and a motion-activated illumination system so kids can focus on play instead of switches. The lightweight, grippable shape makes it useful for practice sessions, beach games, backyard catch, and festive night-time activities.

How bright and long does the LED glow last?

The football uses high-intensity LEDs that create a clear, visible glow for low-light conditions. With the included LR44 batteries pre-installed, you get around five hours of active playtime, and the LEDs only run while the ball is in motion to conserve power.

• Super-bright LEDs for night play and easy tracking
• Approximately 5+ hours of battery life under regular use
• Motion-activated sensors prevent unnecessary drain
• Batteries (3x LR44) are replaceable when needed

Is the foam soft enough for younger children and indoor use?

Yes—Lightro is built from soft, high-quality foam so it’s gentle on little hands and safe for indoor toss-and-catch sessions. The forgiving exterior reduces the risk of bumps and breakage while still holding up to outdoor roughhousing.

• Soft foam construction suitable for indoor and outdoor play
• Comfortable lacing and shape for better grip and throws
• Lightweight so even small children can handle it
• Durable materials resist punctures and impact

What size is this football and who can use it?

This is a peewee/youth 8-inch football created for smaller hands but with a profile that older kids and teens will also enjoy. It’s ideal for skill-building, casual yard games, and evening activities for kids roughly aged 6–12.

• 8-inch length sized for youth and smaller hands
• Shaped and laced like a regulation-style ball for realistic throws
• Lightweight for improved accuracy and easier catching
• Versatile: practice, beach, backyard, parties, and night games

How simple is setup and ongoing maintenance?

Lightro is ready straight from the box—no assembly required—because the batteries are already installed. The LEDs are automated, so maintenance is mostly limited to replacing the small LR44 batteries after extended use.

• Comes with 3x LR44 batteries pre-installed
• Motion sensor turns LEDs on and off automatically
• No external switches to operate or lose
• Replaceable batteries for continued performance

Who is this for: LIGHTRO is best for parents, coaches, and gift-givers seeking a safe, fun football for younger players or families who enjoy evening outdoor recreation. It suits children developing throwing and catching skills, teens looking for a playful light-up ball, and anyone wanting a durable, soft toy that adds visibility and excitement to low-light play.
