LIFT Dax replacement suspension for Dad hard hats — ratchet-adjustable padded liner with Comfort II dome & leather brow

LIFT Safety’s Dax replacement suspension upgrades Dad full-brim and cap-style hard hats with a ratchet-adjustable, padded liner for improved fit and comfort.

Designed as a factory-matching replacement for fiberglass and carbon-fiber Dad hard hats, the Dax suspension modernizes older liners with a Comfort II dome pad, leather brow cushioning, and a pivoting back strap. It installs in minutes and restores secure, adjustable support so the helmet sits properly during long shifts and active tasks.

How does this suspension improve daily comfort?

The Dax suspension focuses on pressure distribution and skin-friendly contact points. The Comfort II dome pad reduces localized pressure on the crown while the leather brow pad lowers friction and absorbs sweat, making extended wear less fatiguing.

• Comfort II dome cushioning for even pressure relief
• Leather brow pad for softer forehead contact and sweat management
• Pivot-back strap to maintain alignment as you move

Will it fit my Dad full-brim or cap-style hard hat?

This replacement is engineered to fit both Dad full-brim and Dad cap-style models and is compatible with the original factory attachment points. It replaces liners in fiberglass and carbon-fiber shells without requiring shell modification.

• Factory-form fit for Dad-brand full-brim helmets
• Works with Dad cap-style shells for broad compatibility
• No drilling or permanent changes needed for installation

How do I adjust and secure the suspension for a proper fit?

Adjustment is quick thanks to the integrated ratchet cinch: rotate to tighten or loosen for a precise fit. The pivoting rear strap helps maintain contact at the back of the head while keeping the liner centered.

• Ratchet cinch control for micro-adjustments on the job
• Pivot system on the rear strap for dynamic movement
• Snap-in mount points match original helmet sockets

What are the durability and maintenance features?

Materials are chosen for everyday jobsite use: the leather brow pad resists wear while padding materials retain shape through repeated use. Replacement is simple if parts become worn, extending the lifespan of the helmet shell.

• Robust pads that maintain comfort over time
• Leather brow surface for easy cleaning and longevity
• Quick replacement reduces total helmet lifecycle cost
